Excellent! The hotel, the dining, the amenities and best of all the employees!!! We thought the rooms were awesome. The housekeeping staff was top of the line. We ate a number of meals at the restaurant and from the hostess to the waiter and the meal everything was first class. Valet service with Henry was top notch. He was friendly, helpful and provided first class service.

Hotel was great, the room was perfect, great A/C. The guys at the belt stand were amazing and on point We checked out on Sunday and the elevators did not work, so 4 flights of stairs with luggage was not good Otherwise a great beautiful hotel, keep it up

Dean was an absolutely wonderful host! We were there so my friend could see the hotel, which held many special childhood memories from her childhood years in the 50's and 60's. Dean saw that we felt somewhat overwhelmed when we first walked in, and as we toured he shared hotel history and points of interest and changes since the "old days." We had a great brunch overlooking the park and resolved to stay at the hotel on another trip to San Antonio. Dean is a top-flight ambassador for the St. Anthony Hotel.

We were curious about this grand hotel, so we stopped in to take a look around. Dean kindly intercepted us, answered all our questions, and regaled us with fascinating historical facts about the place. We were so impressed that went back to the bar, Haunt for a delightful happy hour.

I came to a conference with my husband and stayed at this hotel for four nights. It is beautifully decorated, but has some problems that we not easy to overlook. Pros- beautiful pool and great staff running the bar there. Food & service was very good in the Gallery restaurant for breakfast & lunch. Cons- only two (sometimes only one) elevators working for the entire hotel. The AC went out the last 24 hrs. The water had to be shut off, which even though a problem out in front of the hotel had to be fixed, was extremely inconvenient, since we couldn’t get showered for a dinner after a hot and humid day outside. There is a button to push to have room made up, but they never come to even switch towels unless you call and complain.

The staff was super friendly and helpful. Carmine helped with my bags and was fantastic. The hotel was gorgeous. Would highly recommend this hotel. I have stayed in a lot of different hotels for work and this would have to be one of the nicest hotels I have stayed in.
