The valet was very excellent! The employees were very friendly and fast to help us with our service. Every time I walked out they would say good morning or good afternoon. Even with the rush hour they were very quick to bring us our car so I really recommend their service

This lovely historic hotel is teeming with charm and elegance.
The only reason this is not a 5 star review is due to the elevator’s availability. Because of its historic nature, the elevator’s parts are as such-
Every staff I encountered was kind, helpful and accommodating.
I especially appreciated the “Haunts” bartender’s education on a classic Fitzgerald martini- delish!

Arrived at 5.15pm, room not ready until 6.15pm, we were going out for dinner so no time to relax and have a shower. Following day we got back to hotel around 4.30pm and room wasn’t cleaned, had to phone reception and maid arrived at 5.30 and started then. Only one elevator working and waited 15 mins to go from floor to reception. Room and location was good but let down by poor service

1. Room not ready for check in until after 6 pm
2. Room not cleaned the next day until after 4 pm
(And only after a phone call requesting it)
3. Only 1 elevator working for a full hotel

Food is a bit pricey, only 2/4 elevators worked and can be loud outside at night cars alarms going off and racing. But love the property itself it’s convenient and walkable to everything basically a block or two away from the hot spots.
