As grandparents, we were thrilled to stay at an Embassy Suites since we wanted to ensure that our first trip out of town with our granddaughter was memorable which also included staying at this hotel. At first glance, everything looked on point. Our king size bed suite was perfect initially. As we settled in, we noticed several disconcerting things. For instance, there was a foul stench coming from the bathroom that was intolerable. Since we had activities planned es all day Saturday, we arrived at the hotel closer to 9:00 PM. It made no sense to move a three year old child to another hotel late that night. The portable refrigerator appeared to be loosely unhinged and could not open so that I could put juices and snacks. Also, the swimming pool was not clean and poorly lit. We decided to endure the evening and leave first thing in the morning. This hotel brand appears to have certainly deteriorated, and you can rest assured that this hotel chain will never be one that I or my family stay in ever.
