When we booked the room, we were not told about the hotel having hot water issues. We went to clean up for a family event and there was nothing but cold water. When we spoke to two different front clerks were in different about the hot water issue. We spoke to a couple from England who said there has not been hot water for three or four days. Another lady was highly upset about the hot water issue stating she couldn’t even shower for two days after getting sweaty walking around the sites of San Antonio and now was flying home stinky, sticky, and feeling gross. The lobby area smelled of dirty mop water and strong cleaner. The air conditioning said is was 73.5° but it was freezing in the room and even after turning it off, because it wouldn’t adjust, it stayed freezing. I couldn’t stay in the room and woke up at 3 am to go outside to warm up. After all the years we have been Hilton Honors members, this is by far the worst place we have ever stayed in. I highly recommend you skip this place. We were fortunate to get a room for the second night at another hotel close by and have been treated extremely well here. The only decent employees were the parking attendants, Jay M. And Isaiah. I apologize to those two as I was unable to get cash to tip them as we were dealing with all the other issues. Troy F.
