Check in was great and smooth. They had a shuttle that picked us up from the airport. Our room was a suite and it was spacious. It was a little outdated and the floor had some dead spots so it created a slight dent. The hot tub and breakfast were nice.

Residence Inn says they will pick up from the airport. We set up the pick up. When we arrived, a half hour before pick up time I received an email saying there were ‘technical difficulties’ and they would not be able to pick us up. There was no mention of reimbursement for an Uber or arrangements for a different way to get there. The hot tub was closed and dirty. The toilet in my room did not work and ran all night. I asked for a repair and went out for the day. When I got back, the handle was so tight, it would barely flush and the toilet ran every 9 minutes refilling. Again I asked for a repair and went out the next day. Toilet continued to run the entire time I was there, although it was every 20-30 min.
it was a frustrating stay, I expected more out of a Residence Inn.

Came to San Antonio for a long eclipse weekend. Booked 3 rooms on Hotwire. We were given rooms at inn at Market Square. Poor disappointed. We got 3 rooms, and all rooms needed basic room maintenance such as painting, caulking, and baseboards are weathered, possibly moldy by the bathroom. The refrigerator freezer does not work! The microwave does not work. No working fire alarm. Alarm had NO BATTERIES! Light fixture had no cover! Non -smoking rooms smell like smoke. Some outets do not have covers. The exhaust fan in the bathroom does not work. At its best, this hotel ("INN") is a 2 star hotel, nowhere near a 3-star hotel.

Overall its a good stay., just a little disappointed that there isn't any water bottles or house keeping done every day. No water bottles even the checked in day.. No house keeping after checkin but when asked they would give extra towels but for a marriot I expected more.

I didn’t like the fact you can actually hear the person above your bedroom walking in their bedroom.
I was told by management that there would be a shuttle readily available for our trip to the Alamo Dome… that they would waiting at 5:00…
There was no shuttle… but, lots of excuses and plenty of them.😟
For the remainder of our stay, management never once got in touch with us to tell us that a shuttle service would be ready for us
When I visited Residence before the reserved dates, I had requested a bedroom downstairs, since I’m a senior.
That didn’t happen.Again, excuses, that I had reserved the hotel with *******.
I told him the management that I had come earlier in the summer to personally request a downstairs bedroom and to check out the accommodations.
Breakfast was considerably good and tasty.
