Great , convenient location.

In San Antonio for our son’s basketball tournament and choose Best Western based on the reviews. Completely SATISFIED!! Front desk staff friendly, very nice and helpful! Our room had plenty of space and it was very very clean! Our bathroom was big, very clean and the shower pressure great! Our son enjoyed the pool and hot tub. Breakfast was a hit! And we loved their Christmas decorations! I would definitely stay again and recommend it!

Housekeeping staff was great! Breakfast Attendant was spectacular! Front staff minus Barry was HORRIBLE! Killed two roaches smoke detector wailing in my room someone opened my door while I was on the toilet Graveyard Front desk Attendant BEN threatened to have me removed for telling others about my experience

2 / 5. The staff were extremely nice and welcoming, but the room was not good. There was the wrong color of paint splashed on the ceiling, stains on the furniture, and hair in the bathroom when we arrived. The hallways are extremely hot and muggy, and in the bathroom there was a half done job to fix a chip on the sink, which looked like someone had just stuck plaster on it, without doing anything else, not even smoothing it out, I originally thought that it was masking tape. Drywall had some chips in it, and there was additional frying on the furniture, along with threads loose on the couch stitching. Would not recommend, sub par at best, there is a hyatt place next door, go there instead.

I am still waiting to be contacted by someone from management from this hotel. We stayed on the evening of July 2nd. Had flights get delayed and arrived for late check in. The following morning, we awoke to find our car had been broken into in the parking lot along with 4 or 5 others. The lady at the front desk explained that the security system (video cameras) haven’t been working for a while and didn’t know why they only had one person on duty as there have been issues with thefts in the recent past. We were offered a simple “sorry that happened” and that was it. No help provided whatsoever from anyone at the hotel. I had to flag down a San Antonio policeman to file a report. I filled out a form after asking for it and was assured someone would get with me. To know this has been happening and still not have working cameras is inexcusable!

Heater and refrigerator were extremely loud. Our stay was during the icey storm weekend days in San Antonio and RN my wife had to work at the hospital next morning so we got a room here instead of driving w/ ice on the road. We noticed around midnight that both heater and fridge were loud. They hindered our rest which was the whole point of us buying a night here. Management never got back to me on this either. Customer service isn’t there.
