WoodSpring Suites San Antonio Stone Oak

Reception staff were unhelpful, borderline rude. We arrived early, were unable to be checked in until 3 and I needed to go to hospital. Our cellular wasn't working so we asked if we could log in to the WiFi in order to book an uber. Told that wasn't possible until we checked in. Tried to use the lobby phone and that didn't work either. Eventually a hotel guest offered to drive us to the hospital. Told we were unable to leave our luggage either, we left our 81 yo mother to look after the luggage until we returned. During our stay, the one elevator broke down and was not repaired by the time we departed. One of the reasons we booked this hotel was because the rooms had kitchenettes. Unfortunately there were zero utensils, not even a teaspoon, glass or mug in our room. To finish on a more positive note, the rooms were spacious and clean, and there was a complimentary coffee machine in the lobby.

Friendly place. The employees are all wonderful and other guests are too. This is a well run place where the guests stay for extended stays because they treat you like family. Very clean and quiet. So nice dogs are allowed. Kitchen area in each room. Nice to have a place to do laundry there.

Friendly, quiet area (for it being next to hwy), semi-hard to find…. other than that overall a good stay

It’s right on the highway so if you don’t have a car, you might wanna stay away from this. But the main issue was that the staff apart from a few exceptions was really really rude.

Rooms were clean. Staff was friendly. The only negative was the smell in the hallway of the 2nd floor. It hits you when the elevator doors open. I guess it may have been an unusual fragrance but it was really intense.
