There was NO RESERVATION upon arriving at the hotel!!! This website is a total scam/fraud!!!! Do not use!!!

This was my first at this resort. My husband and I really enjoyed our spa experience. When you book an appointment you have access to the spa pool, steam room and sauna at any time during that day.
It was nice they had an adult area and a family area for pool lounging.
Having a nature trail was a plus! Plenty to do at the resort, make sure to check the calendar for events happening.
The food at Primero cantina was not good and not to my liking.
Shuttles are available to La Cantera shops and to fiesta texas.
We dined at Signature which was a really great place for a date. The red snapper was delicious!
Overall had a great experience.

Hotel is on beautiful piece of property. Gold course is beautiful and grounds were beautiful. Great food and service. However grounds were in need of maintenance. Pools missing tiles, were needing caulking around sides and there were fruit flies everywhere. Public areas needed clean up and upgrade for how expensive resort is. Rooms are old and AC in our room never cooled off and ran continuously. For a high rating resort, we expected a little more pristine rooms and buildings.

Was Ok - water temp in room was only cold/lukewarm. In defense of the resort - didnt report as was incredibly busy at function and decided to just live with it.

This was incredibly underwhelming. The room was outdated. The food was poor at best. I would have rated it poor and then I got my car from valet upon checkout. It was covered in bird droppings which had clearly happened days previously. They had left it baking in the sun and ruined the paint on my car. They showed no empathy and I still have no clear resolution. That moved the rating to Terrible.

The experience was terrible overall. At checkin at 4 o clock, the check in person told us that the Sweetfire restaurant was open. When we got there they told us it was closed and that they opened at 5pm. We were very hungry so we went to PRimero Cantina. Huge fail, the items we ordered were not good. The fish ceviche did not taste fresh. The guacamole was like a green paste, it did not taste like authentic Avocados were used. We wanted some spice so we wanted some salsa, we had to order the chips and salsa to get salsa for$7, It thought that was ridiculous after buying the fake guacamole and 3 pounds of chips. For dinner we decided to order room service. WE know room service charges are ridiculous now a days but we did not feel like going out to the restaurants. We ordered a caesar salad which said that it came with anchovies, and there were no anchovies. The overall taste of the salad was as good as a pre-packaged HEB salad. The chicken quesadillas were mediocre to bad, and it came with tons of little tabasco bottles, huge fail. IF you are trying to sell an "authentic" mexican or tex-mex experience you guys have failed enormously. I don't think we will be coming back. We spent almost a thousand dollars between the hotel stay, terrible food and overpriced Spa for a 1/10 experience in my opinion.
