Hotel was great, room was spotless and well appointed. Restaurant was "ok" but not much of a selection for food choices. Bar was very good, drinks were spot on and bartender was attentive. I would recommend the hotel, but would suggest going somewhere else for dinner.

Great location to walk onto the riverwalk, the Alamo and market square. Hotel has very nice common areas, elevator wait time was good. Bathroom water pressure was amazing. Bathroom amenities were included. Bed was too soft for me and the room decor gave off monastery vibes.

Nice rioms, especially with a balcony to the courtyard. Great Mexican restaurant next door, several coffee shops in close walking distance.

I've stayed here before and I've always loved the aesthetic and comfort of this hotel. I brought my 4 year old son with me, and paid for the bump up a few floors, which was totally worth it. We enjoyed views from the 10th floor of both the river and downtown. The king size bed was so comfy we had a hard time dragging ourselves out in the morning. Can't beat a riverfront hotel that's beyond the craziness of the rest of the riverwalk. +1 for the valet team, they rock!

This is our second time staying here as a couple. We love San Antonio and getting away to the area. We have stayed in several different hotels on the riverwalk but enjoy the decor of Hotel Valencia, due to it feeling very romantic. Unfortunately the first night we were there I could not get the room to cool down properly. I had to turn the air down to 55 degrees (lowest setting) and even then it only got the room to about 70 degrees. We also had brought some beer in with us and had to request a fridge to put it in, which ended up freezing and making the beer explode in the fridge. We had a great weekend overall but we’re not in the room much so it worked out. Overall we were excited to come back and stay at Valencia but we were not as pleased this time with the hotel.

My friends and I did a short girls trip to San Antonio and stayed at the Hotel Valencia. We had a wonderful time and staying at this Hotel was the icing on the cake. It is a gorgeous hotel and just steps from the Riverwalk. The Hotel Restaurant was excellent as well. Everyone, especially Elizabeth, who checked us in, and the General Manager, went above and beyond to make our stay really enjoyable !! Will definitely stay again, hopefully soon.
