After having a poor experience at another hotel nearby, I came to Hyatt and I wish I had just stayed here the whole time. Very friendly, helpful, and welcoming staff, nice building, clean room, decent views. If I come back to San Antonio I will be staying here.

We were surprised with the lack of cleanliness of the room. I usually inspect as soon as we arrive but I had just had surgery and was tired and groggy. The next morning we noticed blood stains in the comforter and the shower and walls in the bathroom looked splattered with bodily fluids. I am not one to complain, but it was not nice for what we thought we were getting.

The staff was very kind; however, it would have been good to know about the power shutdown on the 3rd of Jan and the lack of an elevator (the 4th floor on the staircase was not a good thing for my mom and Auntie); next time it would be nice to share this info or block the rooms to change hotels with anticipation.
