What can I say? Hotel Emma was simply amazing. I was contacted by the concierge prior to my check in and per her recommendations, I reserved seating at Sternewirth and a couple spots on their historical tour. Both were awesome. I highly recommend reserving seating in one of the former tanks at Sternewirth if you plan to enjoy some cocktails. The noise level gets pretty hig in the evening and the tank serves as a sound barrier! There is even a call button inside the tank you can press for service. Seating is comfortable and the drinks were tasty. I enjoyed their Three Emmas, Dragonfall, and Golden Truth (alcohol-free) cocktails. Conveniently located in the Pearl District, we enjoyed the weekend farmer's market and a live band at Stable Hall. The room was lovely and we really enjoyed the balcony view of the Riverwalk and fireplace. They also offer guests exclusive access to their library which was a nice quiet spot to enjoy a few complementary beverages and look at their book collection. Staff were all welcoming and attentive.

The Hotel Emma is a very unique hotel with history, comfort, and amazing service. Our company held everts at this location and the food was beyond expectations.

Highly recommend this Hotel. Worth every penny and more. There is a reason why people just come to see the lobby or to have a drink in the cool bar OR the Denver Nuggets chose to stay there.

While we only stayed for one night, our experience from arrival to departure was just fantastic. Every staff member we encountered were very kind and friendly. The hotel is so neat and interesting, with the history of the brewery. Roof pool was lovely, the gym, while we didn't get a chance to use it, looked like any great space for a workout. We had a room with a balcony and it was lovely to have that extra space, with ceiling fan, and a gas fireplace for a chilly night. Room was lovely, super comfy bed, great bathroom. Breakfast room service topped any that we've had recently at other hotels. It was lovely to sit in the library (for guests only) and have a drink. We are not fans or bars or noisy spaces, so we appreciated that space. And you can borrow a book! Can't wait to come back and stay at Hotel Emma.

We’ve stayed at Hotel Emma twice and love the warmth and comfort of this thoughtfully renovated building. The Library offers excellent cocktails served in a relaxing and private setting. There are also a multitude of excellent dining and shopping options surrounding the hotel.

Hotel Emma, a 5 star hotel, one of the best in the country per reviews, was a lovely place to stay for our 30th wedding anniversary. The hotel exterior and interior are so beautiful and interesting, with an amazing history. The pool was lovely. Its location on the San Antonio River Walk was great, though you have to walk a ways to the center of town where all the shops and bustling restaurants are on the river. We enjoyed taking the boat shuttle back once we hit the downtown area.

What a treat! Its not cheap but its worth every cent. The decor is really quite outstanding, the service second to none and the beds super comfortable. 2 - 3 nights could not be spent anywhere better than here. It is a very big complex of restaurants, bars, and places to see and do things, including the river walk.

The Hotel Emma is so warm and welcoming and the history is fascinating, you can feel it all around you. We were fortunate to visit friends and experience the Emma Koehler Suite, and it was absolutely unforgettable. We had dinner on the terrace overlooking the river and not only was it delightful, the service was attentive. The airy feeling with the windows open and the grand piano also made the suite unlike any other I have stayed in. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a luxury lifestyle experience.
