Large renovated room, conveniently located near fiesta activities, across the street from NIOSA. All staff were very helpful and friendly, Jennifer at the front desk and Rachel at the lobby bar were absolutely fantastic. Will be returning to stay here next year!

My boyfriend and I live in San Antonio but we stayed at the Fairmount Hotel during Fiesta for a little staycation. We were greeted by Jennifer and she alone made the entire experience enjoyable. I don't even know what her title is because she was doing EVERYTHING. She checked us in, she valeted our car, and she was even the acting hostess at the restaurant. Our room was gorgeous. The rooftop bar was incredible. What a view. The bartender loves what he does. He put love into those drinks. Despite being busy, he took the time to recommend drinks he thought we would like. I don't remember his name, but he invented the "Havana Nights" drink on their menu, which was delicious. The construction around the area is not ideal, and very loud, especially so early in the morning, but that's not the hotel's fault. When we checked out the next morning, Jennifer was there again. She offered us coffee to-go, bottled water, and then she brought our car around. I highly recommend this hotel. Thank you, Jennifer! Everything was great!

Fantastic experience at such a unique and historic property. Absolutely loved it. Great service, outstanding rooms, and upscale amenities. Great location to all activities near the River Walk. Stroll around the river and enjoy good food.

Jennifer provided the best personal and thoughtful service at a hotel that I recall. The rooms are lovely, bed extremely comfortable. Appreciated the Nespresso coffee after i figured out how to use the pod machine :). Loved this experience! Very nice location near the La Villita shops and restaurants and Riverwalk, despite the street construction in the immediate area.

Great stay, will stay again. We’ve been trying to find a good hotel to visit our college student, I think we finally found our spot. The rooftop bar was so good & strong drinks. Everyone was so nice & helpful. I do think the rooms should have a fun for air circulation.

While just a bit on the pricier side, this is an outstanding hotel. First, there is the great history, and they've fully remodeled/updated the place while maintaining the historical look and feel. Location is also excellent; it is easily walkable to all things downtown San Antonio. Staff was great and accommodating. Our only small 'complaint' was that the website is a bit out of date (e.g., check-out time is 11 rather than the web-site listed time of noon). Also, the reservation we made on-line was never acknowledged via email so we were unsure about it. Even an email request for a confirmation yielded no response. But our reservation was good and, again, all other things were great!

Very stylish, beautiful historic hotel, conveniently located close to downtown sites. Fabulous Italian restaurant downstairs. Very reasonably priced for what you get. Spacious rooms. I’ve stayed in many San Antonio hotels and this is one of my absolute favorites. And quieter than on the river walk.
