The Bungalows by Homestead Modern at the Joshua Tree Retreat Center

非常棒，deserted but amazingly beautiful

Seriously one of my favorite stays in Joshua, The view, The staff, the property everything was 10 out of 10! I highly recommend coming staying here and will forsure be back.

Great place to stay with a beautiful view. Wish I’d thought to pick up some breakfast items or the bungalows had offered to prestock. Didnt have enough time to explore the retreat center or those amenities, like the pool.

This review is with such mixed emotions. The room was fantastic. The patio with the views of the Joshua Trees was incredible. The room had everything I needed except a typical coffee maker, only a French press included. My issue is check in and billing. You never get a human. It’s all through email or text however cell reception there is terrible. I was stranded for over an hour trying to decide how to get in. I went to the “office” only it’s not the rental office, it belongs to the other wellness businesses there. They seemed aware that check in would be an issue so they have the phone number to call taped to their door. It took me four phone calls to get in and that was after I sent them my ID and CC number. I started to question their legitimacy, but, in time it all worked out.

Spacious mid-century modern bungalow with everything you need for a relaxing stay in Joshua Tree, all set on an interesting, historic property.

The check in process is entirely digital. It’s a little wonky since service around there is spotty and I think having human interaction is just better, But the grounds and living space were absolutely beautiful. Great spot to unwind and watch the stars from their giant hot tub.
