Overall, it’s a great place for the money I paid. The property and room were clean, the gentleman working was nice, even though he gave me an unsolicited, but informative lecture on third party services. The king bed was comfortable, the room made great use of the space (for example, the microwave and mini fridge were in the closet alcove, thus creating space for a small desk), and the bathroom was done in a modern, sleek design. I appreciated the bottom of the tub was coated in a non-slip substance. The only things that would’ve improved the stay were a coffee maker and better water pressure. Other than that, it’s a great place and I would definitely recommend and stay again!

I stayed here the night before my flight out of SFO for $119/night, and it was solid. My room and bed were clean and comfortable, and I have zero complaints. But here’s a warning: BRING EARPLUGS. If you don’t, you won’t be able to sleep. Also bring water if you don’t want to drink out of the faucet, but the tap water was fine. And for those of us without cars, yes, the area is a bit sketchy and my 6AM walk in the dark to the San Bruno BART station (FYI BART fare from San Bruno to SFO is $9, and from Millbrae to SFO is $5.20) was a bit unsettling, but there’s lots of traffic along El Camino Real so it’s not terrible. If I had a choice I’d stay near Millbrae BART, but if you’re going to be in San Bruno, go ahead and pick Bayhill Inn.

Pros- Friendly staff, good shower pressure, comfy bed, low price, close to freeway. Cons- Construction is being done to the building, thin walls, carpet stained and visibly dirty, sink far back from counter edge, no black out curtains, plastic shutter that let a ton of light in, lights that make static noise, close to busy road so lots of traffic and sirens. Overall okay stay but would be pricey if not Halloween weekend.

I missed my flight and the staff quickly re-booked my room. The room was clean and comfortable. I will definitely be coming back. 6 out of 5 stars!

Nothing unique. Not worth when you consider this motel/inn money wise. Tiny room. Anyway for one night okay.
