We stayed here 3 nights and had a wonderful stay. Nancy checked us in fast and efficiently. Our room was spotless, had everything needed. The 1st night my husband had a medical issue and we had to call 911. Jay was at the front desk and very helpful! He was a great support to me while waiting. The next day Nancy was back and helped with towels and local recommendations. She is great! That night we were excited to see Jay back. It felt like coming home to family. He again offered any assistance and asked about our day. The hot tub was perfect and the coffee ground fresh with each cup! If you want a place that feels like home - stay here. Hopefully Jay and Nancy will be working! They are the best!

The hotel was priced well. Parking was easy. Staff was kind.
Room had an odor. Hot tub wasn't working. The was an annoyimg alarm that was going off all day. To be fair I never complained about the alarm or odor to the staff though.

Definitely worth the stay
Amazing stay! Very clean and welcoming. Great views from the room and location was perfect. Everything was about 6-10 minutes away.

overall a nice stay. only issue is with the water pipe outside of our room. It make high high-pitched noise when someone in the property are using water.

I was amazed at how spacious the room was. It has a lot of room, loved the fact that it had a little kitchen area. Staff was pretty friendly. Definitely will go back to this hotel next time I visit San Diego. 10/10

Disappointed Stay
Bathroom needed updating. Kitchen area had no counter space due to broken above stove microwave. Portable microwave took up countet space. Air conditioner was on opposite side of room and bately reached bedroom. No door or curtain separating bedroom to living area. Watet pressure in the shower was low. Closet needed a door. Cupboard area to get essentials was bare of food and drinks.I have stayed in other Candlewood Suites and this place was disappointing. It was, however, a great location for getting to sightseeing areas and front desk staff friendly.

During my stay, I noticed that the aroma from the neighboring guest's cooking permeated my room. The smell was quite overpowering, so I took the initiative to request an air freshener from the front desk to enhance my comfort.

Best Room Ever!
We travel to San Diego a lot. I must say best room I’ve ever stayed in! Very spacious very clean property was kept up very nice. It was quiet. Definitely going to stay here again. The next time we go☀️ The person at the front desk was very friendly very helpful he always had a smile on his face😍
