Pros: Good location, easy access to USS Midway, Seaport Village, San Diego Zoo, Ocean Park, train/station, etc. $10 food and beverage credit per room per day can buy any food and drink in the hotel. Free airport shuttle. Give you 2 bottles of water every day. The hotel has 3 bikes that can be rented for 4 hours free of charge.

The front desk never answers so one must go downstairs for any requests. The parking is ridiculous at $56.00 per car per night and the hot tub and pool on 3rd floor are far too small for the size of the building. I have an electric car and they have no charging stations. i will not stay there again.

The location of the hotel is very good, you can see the bay view, only ten minutes away from seaport village. Currently the restaurant only serves brunch and no dinner, which is not very convenient.

Excellent check in staff. Efficient and helpful. Breakfast staff also good. Room a bit small and would have liked a bedside table on either side rather than an unused chair. Felt it was intended for a single person. Windows were dirty so view was impaired by this. Possibly because they had experienced unusually wet weather recently. Location was very good. Shuttle service excellent and very useful. Bikes free for first 2 hours - a great way to have a quick tour of the Bay Area.

Overall we had a great stay at The Westin Bayview. The reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 was when we arrived at the airport we called the hotel to use the shuttle which is included. After waiting 25 minutes (they quoted us 15 mins for arrival) I called again and they said they had a large party they were transporting and could not give us a time estimate for the next shuttle. We saw many other hotel shuttles come and go but did not see the Westin. We ended up paying for an Uber but was frustrating since this was included in our additional charges for the stay.
