The room and hygiene are average, the location is good, but the service is poor. The front desk clerk seemed to owe her millions, she was cold. Especially at night, there was only someone to answer the phone: Since there was only a thin blanket in the room, it was quite cold at night, I wanted to add a blanket, but I made 3 calls and waited for more than 20 minutes before it was delivered. I will not stay here again.

The location of the hotel is right in the center of San Diego, the staff is very friendly. They kept our suitcases for us on the day of checkout until the evening. The hotel has a terrace with a 270° view of downtown San Diego, you can see the sunset and the planes landing at the airport. There is a coffee maker so you can have the coffee you want. I would definitely return to this hotel.

Mary and the entire front desk were very welcoming and friendly! The hotel has a vast history and a really cool vide to it. The rooms were very clean and bed was comfortable. I felt safe which is very important to me since I was traveling alone.
I would come back her to stay with my children and recommend this hotel to anyone!

Great crew working at hotel. Great valet service. Great location. But...VERY noisy at night. Expected with bars underneath and nearby but may not be good location for business people to stay.

Front desk manager who has been with company for over 30 years was the best! Great recommendations, free upgrade to a nice suite. So even though the hotel showing a little age, the service put this at a 10/10
