I have been staying at this hotel in SD for the past 19 years. It is in a good location, right on Highway 5. There is an In-N-Out nearby and it is just a two-step walk away. It is also very close to the Garnet Ave business district. The indoor parking spaces in the hotel are relatively limited. If you go back late at night, there will be no parking spaces and you can only park outside. This is a pet-friendly hotel. Although it is cleaned well, you can still smell some smells in the corridors. People who are concerned or have allergies should be careful.

The hotel is clean, spacious, and the suitcase can be spread flat.
The sound insulation needs to be improved. You can hear the screams of children in the corridor and the noise of people stepping up and down the floors.

There was so much storage space. If you were staying for a week or longer, this is the place. Full size closet, plus multiple shelves and drawer options. Large fridge and microwave in the room. Also, our room was on the corner of the building, kind of by the pool and it had a long hallway IN the room, before turning into the main living space. It added a feeling of security and privacy to our stay

It was a short stay but pleasant. The room is nice and clean. The front desk guy check up on the Tv remote and he brought us a new Tv remote. The breakfast is good and simple. I would recommend this to my other family and friends.

The room was big and clean. The beds were fairly comfortable (pillows were not). Breakfast was perfectly fine with a good selection. The pool was small, but swimmable. The part of town this is located in is OK. We blindly chose this hotel on Priceline because we only needed it for two nights. On a map it looked like it was a lot closer to a beach, but we ended up walking a little over a mile to get to a bay. This was fine, but it wasn't a beach like we thought it would be. There is a McDonald's, an In-and-Out and a 7-11 all within about a block for food and snacks. There is also an excellent restaurant called Cali Bahn Mi super close. Highly recommend. Otherwise, you're going to be walking a lot.

Staff very friendly. Good location. Needs some updating and I think it may be under renovations in fitness center which was pretty dirty. For the price, still a good deal and I would stay there again for location and convenience.
