Left an extremely expensive item of clothing in the closet of my room when I checked out. Reported it hours later when I realized- only to learn that it had not been turned in and was “missing.” It’s clear that it was either taken by hotel staff or discarded. If you stay here, make sure you don’t leave any expensive items behind in the room because you will not get them back- and they will not take any reasonable/logical steps to locate and return the item. If you or your company needs somewhere to stay in SD, choose somewhere else

My first time in San Diego. Beautiful city with a lot of quality dining options within walking distance. Most of hotel staff was courteous, although I felt I was unfairly targeted and harassed by security staff solely based on my race and disability.

I stayed at the hard rock over this past weekend. It was absolutely amazing. Me and my girlfriends checked in and were greeted by a kind young man at the front desk. I believe his name was coy and recommended so many fun things to do in San Diego! We took him up on a restaurant recommendation to STK and it was very good! We also had some question about our stay and Coy was able to help us with any issues we had! It was amazing! The room was also very nice and Gaslamp was so much fun! I will definitely be recommending this location for our next business trip! Definitely a great experience and lovely staff!

Hotel is super nice and super clean but we had a cockroach in our room n had to switch rooms. They only accommodated us with a later check out time.
