My husband and I have stayed at the RB Inn a few times over the years and always enjoyed it. Unfortunately, our recent stay was a disappointment for several reasons. While the staff were friendly and the grounds looked beautiful, other things cannot be overlooked. In the past upon our arrival we enjoyed happy hour on the lovely patio. HH has been moved indoors to a dark and noisy bar. We decided to have an early dinner on the patio, and while the service was quite good, the food was not up to the prices on the menu. Our room was pleasant but we had to call housekeeping 3 times to get what had been previously requested to be in the room prior to check in. The hot tub near our room had only one jet functional, not good. Yet, the biggest disappointment was the spa. While my facial was outstanding, the operation of the spa was subpar: no clean spa sandals, unclean changing area, dirty cabanas (I had to clean the one we reserved), and no cabana service anymore. I hope the management works on improving the resort experience that the RB Inn used to be known for.
