The hotel is located in Little Italy. There are no bad reviews online. The rooms and bedding are very clean. The bath water is also big. It takes 10 minutes to take a taxi downtown, and it takes 10-15 minutes to walk by trolley. There are some homeless ones, so taking a taxi is convenient. Enough for business trips. There is a gas station and supermarket opposite, and there is a 711 within a short walk. There are also many restaurants around.

Bathroom is extremely small. Room had a stench - but perhaps from Bleach? Location is good if you want to go to Little Italy. It is over a mile walk to the convention center/Gas lamp area. If you book with a 3rd party you are not eligible for the breakfast!

Great views of SD Bay. Clean rooms, large bathroom, great location. Spacious suite with mini fridge and microwave. Wish we could have stayed longer than overnight to have enjoyed the pool and restaurant onsite. Across the street from tourist attractions with walking path to enjoy the sunny San Diego weather.

Older hotel and noise travels very easily through the floors and from the hallway. Room is definitely dated. I didn't find the bed and pillows to comfortable at all. Parking is $50 for valet! Lots of metered street parking in close proximity with which is way cheaper.

Check in was smooth and easy. We had stayed before and we did see an improvement. Valet parking is back and its 24/7 that’s perfect. There was always someone around which makes you feel safer. Great alternative budget to be close to Little Italy. There was no water in the room, wish they would've told us.
