First stay at Old Town & will def go back if I am back in San Diego. Nice, clean, older place with character & charm. Reasonable rates for the area. Close to alot of attractions. Good continental breakfast with enough to choose from (no hot options except for waffles, however). Off street, free parking. I felt safe in the area. Nice central pool with landscaped surround for privacy although I didn’t use it. Would have liked access to a hot tub.

Lovely, clean motel positioned between the airport and the Old Town. A 5 minute drive to the airport and a 10 minute walk to the Old Town State Park. It's a short walk to Old Town station and the railway line is close, so you'll probably want to pack some ear plugs (which I always do) as the Pacific Surfliner just loves to make its presence known.
The bed was very comfortable, though there were a couple of minor maintenance issues in the room that were a little irritating. The breakfast was really poor and the staff serving it (supposedly) were disinterested and unhelpful but I'm assured they have plans to improve it.
The pool area is really lovely - one of the best motel pools I have used and heated year round :-)
Despite the breakfast, I would definitely stay here again if travelling via San Diego airport :-)

Very nice motel within walking distance of Old Town. Pool. Continental breakfast. A bed so comfortable you want to stay in it all day. One quibble - the bath towels. Can you actually buy towels that thin? Or do you buy regular towels and wash them to death? Whatever. If you want to stay near Old Town, you can’t beat the Old Town Inn for the price.

Bed and pillows were comfortable. Room was quiet and clean. Staff were friendly. Breakfast was pretty standard hotel, the oatmeal was very good.
