There were no towels in the room so that we went to Hotel Stratford and asked for towels several times. But we didn't get any towels from housemaids. Eventually we needed to bring the towels by ourselves from Hotel Stratforrd. The room is tiny and you can barely open your suitcases if you are two persons. Highly not recommended.

The location is quite good, just a 5-minute walk from the Powell St. subway station. If you just want a cheap and affordable hotel, this is the option. Sanitary conditions are OK. There is no front desk here, and it is slightly inconvenient to check in to another hotel nearby.

I used the facility during JPM event. Premium location and great price compared to other hotels for the event . I wasn’t expecting a daily housekeeping. I brought my extra towels. Room clean . Check in/out in their sister hotel Stratford

The hotel room itself was functional. But the room lacked heat during a time when the weather was colder. There is a single old steam furnace in the room that is supposed to provide heating that did not work at all. Additionally, the tun was very slow to drain water, so taking a shower in the tub meant standing in a pool of soapy shower water.

Good location. Spacious comfortable cleanroom, flat screen TV, en suite wc, bath and shower. Desk and chair, fridge. Ample electric sockets. Check in is at Stratford Hotel on Powell Street, about 2-3 mins walk. Secure front door entry and lift to all floors. No staff on site. Would stay again if back in SF.

The Bartlett was an excellent place to stay for one night. The location was perfect, being right near Union Square with lots of dining and shopping options. The room was spacious with a very comfortable bed. I enjoyed using the bathtub! It was great value.
