一家麻雀雖小，五臟俱全的酒店。酒店緊鄰Union Square購物街區，出門左拐三個街區便是Neiman Marcus百貨中心。酒店規模很小，年代也舊，但特別精緻，也特別乾淨清爽。大堂裏有很多印度風格的裝飾品，很有氣氛。酒店服務人員及其熱情，門僮第一時間幫忙卸行李，將行李一路送至房間，甚至還會幫忙撣灰。傍晚還會給送夾心巧克力點心。房間特別乾淨舒適，還配備電熱水壺，針織浴袍，還有拖鞋。床單也是像國內酒店採用被套鴨絨被。洗浴用品都是用的英國老牌Molton Brown，留香時間很長。總之這家Taj酒店算是三番市中心的一個祕密寶藏，有家一般的温馨，又有來自第三世界國家的奢華感。極力推薦！

A truly adorable hotel, in terms of hardware. Unfortunately, I suspect that I might have come across, as an East Asian, some sorts of racial discrimination at this property. For instance, I was asked how I got my European passport and, for multiple times, where I was “originally” from. I was intentionally assigned with a low-floor room with absolutely no view (facing their office room across a narrow atrium; the room in my photos is after me paying for an upgrade).

When we stayed here, the restaurant was under construction so a relaxed breakfast with friends or colleagues was out of the question. Breakfast had to be served in the room, for this you had to pay a $10,- additional fee anyway. Breakfast was not worth the $25,- (without delivery, taxes and tip) they charged. The stars they claim to have aren’t deserved in this day and age, better stay at the Grand Hyatt across the street. Much friendlier and a more modern and up to date environment.

Bei der Ankunft leider zunächst kein Support mit dem Gepäck- als die Koffer alle im Foyer waren kam das Angebot zur Hilfe. Die Amex Privilegien werden mit dem Argument „nur eine Klasse höher haben wir nicht“ abgetan. So läuft natürlich jedes Upgrade ins Leere. Die Zimmer sind ordentlich. Fazit: Leider entsprechen Bewertungen nicht dem wahren Leben!
