Becks Motor Lodge made our lives so easy. In a nutshell, we had family in UCSF for 7 days. From the moment we arrived we were greeted with a smile and felt at home. We booked 2 rooms-very nicely done-updated-not fancy-but very beachy, very clean, everything you need. Free parking--what a bonus. Very very secure, a nice terrace on the 2nd floor. In the Castro, close to restaurants that are very good, cozy, and well priced. We took UBER everywhere, especially back and forth to UCSF. Becks is a VERY pleasant surprise obviously catering to the needs of their guests. Nice products-Phamacopie-and a small coffee maker with PEETS coffee pods. Housekeeping very respectful of signs on door and very clean afterwards. I would stay again-and highly recommend. Thank you Becks!

Cozy and clean, helpful staff and useful map/listing of area eateries, guarded parking and convenient location- we enjoyed our stay here and would recommend! We did use public transport to get around and the staff was helpful in any questions we had regarding that.

The location is fantastic and the upgrades made to the property are fantastic. The room was clean and well designed. The bed was comfortable with nice linens. The shower had a great rain head and the toiletries were great quality. The staff was amazing, and daily full maid service was provided. I was a travel agent for year before retiring in 2014. I would definitely recommend this to any clients I had. Limited free parking is an added bonus I did not need. MUNI service is literally outside the front of the hotel. The area is quite safe as well.

Pros: clean room, good bed and shower, mini frig, and of course, the free parking and convenient, safe location. Cons: horrible pillows (unusable), absolutely no drawer or shelf space in the room or bathroom (although it would be easy to remedy this cheaply by adding drawers, shelves, and more hooks in the large bathroom area.

Great location, free parking on site, friendly staff, nicely remodeled rooms with comfy beds and large showers! Plenty of restaurants and coffee shoos close by and transportation right outside. Will definitely stay here again. Reasonable rates too!

Everything was just right! Bed was nice, thermostat worked well to warm up the very cool room. Front Desk Manager was super friendly.
