Beautifully renovated historic SF hotel. Like stepping back in time. Right on union square and the cable car line. The staff was very nice also. And the starlight room bar at the top of the hotel should not be missed. The views are spectacular.

Need to improve upon the guest service experience. Besides location, nothing else appealed. Check in was messed up perhaps due to high occupancy.

While an older hotel this is one full of character and ambience. It was fantastic value for money and the service outstanding! We were treated with respect and courtesy and loved our short stopover stay. It’s a great location for walking the streets to discover San Fransisco if you only have a day. And the rooftop bar is outstanding.
