The best way I can describe this hotel is overpriced. The location is probably the only attribute to recommend the property . The facilities are not up to the standard of other properties in a similar price range. For example the elevator had issues on both my stays. It is unreliable: As is the internet. The staff are only moderately helpful. I travel as much as to 50,000 miles per year. I have used this hotel twice. I won’t use it again. It is low value for money.

I didn’t even stay there, reserve there or been in the area and they sent me review requests at least five times along with lots of other spam emails. They kept asking for my review so here it is.

The perfect place to stay if you are going to the Opera, the Ballet, the Symphony, SF Jazz... reasonably priced for San Francisco, and adjacent to a TON to good restaurants in Hayes Valley. European-style hotel, minimal lobby, no gym, no restaurant. Just nice rooms and a great bed.

This was such a cute place! Recently renovated, but they kept the décor to match the style of the building. Super clean, friendly staff. The offsite parking was convenient and felt safe (parking garage on the other side of the block). Our car didn't get broken into. Cute restaurants and shops to walk to on Hayes.

Terrific location for going to events in and around City Hall! The halls are a little bit shabby but the room itself was very clean and well appointed, and quiet. Nice tea and coffee service for the morning.

The staff definitely stood out in this place. They were super helpful and accommodating. The building is really beautiful inside and out. Each floor has a door out to the emergency stairs, so it’s kind of like a balcony. Friday night happy hout was nice but I kind of wish they had a few more events for timeshare guests to mingle. The lounge is really nice for quiet morning work but could be used for so much more. What a great game room it could make—maybe a tiny bar? The rooms weren’t huge but doable even for two big guys and some strong sleeping pills. All day coffee and tea was much appreciated. Overall very happy with the stay.

The room was clean but small, and the resort staff were very nice and accommodating. However, the walls are paper thin, so if your are a light sleeper (like me), bring earplugs or consider another location. One night I did complain about a loud phone call next door that was going on past midnight, and the front desk called that guest and had them quiet down.
