Staypineapple, An Elegant Hotel, Union Square

Staff were nice enough and hotel looked aesthetically appealing. Please be aware of the amenity fees at this hotel. It was $34.95 per night, then lodging tax $4.89 and then other taxes around $1 per night. For 4 nights is was $163, this was fine for us but just was people to be aware so they can budget for this. These are charged on top of the cost of the room and taxes. You get included with this coffee in the room, WiFi, water and option to use bikes. I was pretty shocked that you are charged for WiFi and coffee in the room when this is pretty standard in all hotels I’ve stayed in. A huge thing for me was the noise, really think the hotel need to invest in some sort of soundproofing. We are by no means light sleepers but the noise from the bar next door was insanely loud. It was like being in a club in the room. Not only that the noise from the neighbouring rooms was loud. We were here for 4 nights and our room wasn’t cleaned which was fine but haven’t experience it before. Would have ideally had new towels and bins emptied. Location was central, if you are not familiar with the area please be mindful how close you are to the tenderloin area, with a vast population of homeless people. I personally didn’t have any issue at all and found people pleasant. We stayed as part here as the first stop in our honeymoon is was fine, nothing amazing but all in all was ok.

Fabulous hotel, staff were wonderful, room stylish and comfortable. The hotels location is really handy for union square, our room was on the front of the hotel so a little bit of street noise but didnt stop us from sleeping. Cant rate Stay Pineapple San Francisco highly enough

I and my husband enjoyed our stay at the stay pineapple. The room was so elegant, our bed was so comfortable. This was the most unique hotel stay experience we’ve had. Everything about it was amazing. Jenny and Johnny were both pleasant and very welcoming!

Excellent stay, rooms exceptionally clean, amazing staff who helped us when our flight was cancelled. I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting San Francisco. Location is a few blocks away from Union Square and this is centrally located for all pick ups etc.

Me and my family have stayed at Staypineapple SF on several occasions now and every time we do, we have the best experience. The staff is so sincerely nice and attentive. The hotel always has a stylish and relaxing atmosphere. The rooms are always so clean, we LOVE the bedding that they use here, it is so comfortable and fluffy! We are all animal lovers so the welcoming details for the doggies makes it another big reason why we love this place. Staypineapple is overall a 10/10 for us! We always recommend it to our friends and family as well :)

Loved the hotel lobby. Our room was small and charming. We did find it a bit noisy at night especially as one of the two windows didn’t close. We asked for that to be fixed and it wasn’t. However, the hotel did give us a discount for the inconvenience, which was appreciated.

The property was great. Parking is just a short distance away. The room was cozy. I would stay again.

Yesha was an amazing host !!! Beautiful accommodations with wonderful helpful staff. Felt so at home the minute I walked in the door.
