The hotel is in Chianti, surrounded by vineyards, and the scenery should be more beautiful in autumn. There are many villages with nice scenery within dozens of kilometers. The breakfast is not bad, the coffee is delicious, there are many desserts, and there are many kinds of cheese. Continental breakfast.

We had a great experience at the Sovestro. The rooms were very nice and the hotel staff was so helpful with any questions or requests. We walked to town our first night because it was too late to take the shuttle. It was quite a walk there, but much easier walk back! The breakfast served each morning was extensive and delicious….especially the orange juice….so fresh and good! Great way to start the day! This was a great home base for visiting Tuscany but really requires having a car as it is somewhat remote, which is what makes it so charming. 2 of our 3 days here were rainy so we could not take advantage of the lovely terraces and pools, but would 100% stay here again!

I gladly returned to this hotel on the outskirts of San Gimignano, surrounded by greenery and surrounded by vineyards. Large outdoor car park, friendly reception staff available to fulfill guests' requests. The swimming pool is beautiful but I didn't use it due to the weather. The room assigned to me was very clean and spacious. The hotel's adjoining restaurant is comfortable and excellent, where you can also enjoy an amazing breakfast. The price paid is fair while the restaurant, while ensuring excellent quality and preparation of the food offered, is not exactly cheap.

We only stayed one night so we didn't use all the services available (swimming pool, gym...), however the facility is very pleasant, clean, very kind staff and excellent breakfast in the morning. We also used the attached restaurant where we had a very good dinner. Definitely a great place to stay and visit S.Gimignano.

We returned this evening after spending Easter in this hotel. Very nice place surrounded by greenery with two swimming pools (one very beautiful, in a garden full of daisies with various benches and chairs to sit and relax). It is possible to get to San Gimignano on foot with a walk through the greenery that starts right there near the hotel. Rich breakfast with fresh cold cuts and quality desserts. Excellent and plentiful Easter lunch, very kind waiters like all the staff, I want to say! Nice room with a nice terrace overlooking the garden. I would definitely stay here again to take advantage of the two beautiful swimming pools. The environment is very relaxing and we had a really good time, congratulations to everyone!

Very peaceful. Excellent location - easy access to San Gimignano and perfect for trips to some wonderful Tuscan villages and towns. Friendly and helpful staff, good quality buffet breakfast, comfortable rooms and great shower (with soap etc. provided). The restaurant serves very good food.
