A wonderful find… quiet and spacious terrace outside. Delicious and inventive menu. I particularly liked my prawn and mango salad which I had for lunch. The desserts were all equally tasty. Friendly and attentive service.

Très bonne table dans un endroit très agréable. Cuisine raffinée, le veau au thon est un délice, le bœuf braisé formidable. Service et accueil charmants. Il faut réserver car la carte est vraiment une réussite. Beaucoup de monde. Une vraie découverte !

Vuoi mangiare e bere a sufficienza e pagare il giusto? Non è il caso di questo ristorante! Le pietanze sono buone( ma neanche ottime) , le porzioni sono davvero troppo giuste, più quantità non guasterebbe. Così anche il calice di vino che abbiamo richiesto, direi al quanto misero! Il coperto costa € 3,50 mica poco non c'è niente che giustifichi un prezzo così alto! Il servizio non è stato di nostro gradimento, a stento ci rivolgeva la parola il cameriere; ad una richiesta di una pasta con il pomodoro semplice, senza prendere necessariamente il menù completo, ci è stato risposto che non era posdibile..manco fosse un ristorante a 5 stelle! Con dispiacere la nostra esperienza è stata negativa in tutti sensi!

Abbiamo soggiornata una notte in questa locanda veramente stupenda. Camere molto curate e pulite, colazione eccellente, per non parlare del ristorante la cui fama lo precedere. Personale gentilissimo e disponibile, parcheggio vicino a soli 5€. Unica nota negativa il materasso non proprio comodissimo. Per il resto posso solo che consigliare a chiunque questo posto.

Location molto bella e caratterista nel cuore del centro storico. Camere veramente gradevoli e dotate di tutti i confort, c’è spazio per riporre tutti i bagagli ed hanno un’atmosfera romantica ed accogliente. Il personale è molto gentile. Le uniche note stonate riguardano la colazione, poco varia e sia il cappuccino che il caffè non erano un granché.

We had planned to eat on the terrace and had a reservation specifying an outside table. When we arrived they were not serving outside, even though the weather was much warmer than two nights before when we had made the reservation when the patio was full of people happily dining outside. When I explained that my husband could not eat inside as he is immuno-compromised, they made no effort to accommodate us unlike several other restaurants throughout Italy which have been so kind and gracious. When I suggested they should have at least tried to call me to tell me before I showed up with a party of 6, they said they had tried me but I have no record of any such call. Then the young man who clearly couldn't be bothered said "Life was too short" apparently for him to serve us outside. I know how short life is as my husband fought cancer for over 2 years during COVID. Life is too short to patronize a place with an attitude like this!

Su consiglio di un collega toscano ho prenotato e consiglio di fare lo stesso. Ci si trova a mangiare in un curato giardino con luce soffusa ma sufficiente a godersi sia cena che atmosfera. Abbiamo mangiato antipasto, primo e dolce. A : Tortino di cipolla caramellata con gelato di burro salato su crema di parmigiano, non volevo finisse mai. Tagliere toscano di salumi, una certezza. Affettato di ottima qualità. 1P : lasagna scomposta con polpettine, pomodoro, ricotta e basilico : delicata e gustosissima. Nastri allo zafferano con ragù di Cinta : uno spettacolo di sapori. D : Mousse di cioccolato fondente con "cialde" di cioccolato bianco e Semifreddo alla nocciola... Buonissimi. Senza tante parole. Il servizio é stato velocissimo, cordiale e simpatico. Se dovessi ripassare da queste parti credo che un salto lo farò di nuovo.

A beautiful setting for an evening meal. Hidden away from the busy main streets but right in the heart of San Gimignano with views of the towers. The food was delicious - typical Tuscan flavours, beautifully presented and the setting perfect! The staff were all incredibly friendly, we really couldn’t fault it.

Il B&B La Mandragola è delizioso: poche camere, molto curate nei particolari, dalla pulizia impeccabile e dal gusto romantico, in un contesto accogliente e familiare. La location è super centrale, ma allo stesso tempo defilata. Un po' difficoltoso raggiungerla con la macchina per lo scarico bagagli, ma super accessibile a piedi (anche con la valigia). la struttura offre anche un piccolo parcheggio poco distante, ottimo per lasciare l'auto dimenticandosela. In 1 minuto si è in pieno centro e il panorama è davvero mozzafiato. Qualche pecca nell'accoglienza, che non è delle più affabili. la strutturaq è dotata anche di un delizioiso ristorante, che però non abbiamo testato personalmente.
