I went for Easter Monday lunch, it was the first time, I had read the information on the site, my expectations were very good. The first thing I didn't expect was to find myself in this huge environment with around 300 people, very noisy, there were nine of us at the table and I could barely hear who was sitting in front of me. We started lunch at 2.15pm and finished at 5pm. We paid 45 euros per person. Experience not to be repeated!

I went to the Masseria for Easter lunch with my family. Menu: good starters; good risotto with asparagus; very poor ravioli with ricotta and spinach (no flavor and seasoned with a mediocre sauce); the second course based on pork was non-existent, I only received the pork rind and two potatoes as a side dish; as for the dessert, i.e. a slice of cassata, I'm still looking for it because what I had on my plate was the shadow of a cake. Cannoli water, not in a bottle but in a carafe. The whole thing cost 50 per person. Absolutely not up to par. We sat down at the table at 1pm and got up at 5pm!! I'm sorry because it wasn't the first time I went to the Masseria and I had always eaten well, with an absolutely reasonable quality/price ratio, but this time it was absolutely not an Easter lunch.

The quality of the products is extremely high (many of which are organic and of their own production). Everything is delicious but above all, the great professionalism in managing customers with special needs or those who are a little short-tempered (like myself) is to be commended. They have once again demonstrated the quality and maximum attention to the customer. Thank you and well done everyone!

Food was good but waitress ruined our dinner cause we were barley finished with our first plate and she brought empty plates for second serving even though we advised we were not ready than as she brought the 3 rd she said she can put it as take away for us even … i mean when people come for a dinner you need to give them time between one plate and another and at end when we requested for a coffe she told us go and get it by the bar! Totally unsatisfied with service even though food was good… truly a pity

Beautiful Masseria in the middle of the Sicilian countryside in the San Giuseppe Jato area. Among donkeys and cows, expanses of greenery, in the old farmhouse with high roofs you can eat excellent regional and seasonal cuisine (fresh ricotta, artichoke caponata, vegetable pie, olives) with delicious first courses (asparagus and sausage risotto, fresh pasta ragù and fennel, second courses (braised meat and meat skewer with sfincione baked potatoes) and an excellent warm pistachio and orange pie. The home-produced nero d'avola is good to wash down the meal.

Where can I start? Self-production, care for customers, enchanting and magical place, excellent food, atomic wine (every time I take home at least one case) a small but important selection of products that you can buy, such as the grass peas they produce! I am Vegan and Masseria La Chiusa is one of the very few places where I feel calm, I love all the dishes they offer, some elaborate, others of disarming simplicity and an absolutely fantastic flavour. The place is pure magic, if you stay until sunset I can guarantee you will be moved. The golden light that cradles the valley is a sight to be seen at least once in a lifetime. I have many, too many things to say, but I will simply tell you: GO THERE! Try this experience, go and fall in love

Very nice and welcoming place, an ancient farmhouse immersed in the Jato valley. Quality food and drinks. The service was impeccable in terms of courtesy, kindness and availability. Excellent value for money.

We booked for a lunch with friends, at the time of booking they did not inform us that almost the entire place had been used for a company party of 50 people. They put us at a table behind the register with the music and the vocalist. We couldn't talk and didn't enjoy the meal. When we pointed this out to the owner we were told that they weren't aware of the DJ's presence either, too bad that when we arrived everything was already set up with the music already turned on. Terrible experience

Historic structure, perfectly recovered and adapted for hospitality. Very welcoming rooms/apar**ents with spectacular views and equipped with every comfort. Possibility of having half board with very inviting menus. The owner is an exquisite person, who is available to satisfy any customer need. All the staff were friendly, cleanliness reigns everywhere.
