Crystal Paradise Resort

We had a great experience here. The Tut family provided fantastic lodging in the village of Cristo Rey and helped me to arrange and provided transportation for other day trips. We enjoyed home-cooked breakfasts and dinners at the lodge. In quiet moments, we enjoyed sitting on the spacious deck to bird watch. We were able to walk down to the river to cool off and into the village for smaller expeditions. Everything was smooth and perfect - everything I hoped for out of the trip!

What a great place. Personal service everyday from the owner arranging tours and trips to meet our needs. Comfortable accommodation with ac. Lovely bird feeders all around dining bar area. Fresh cooked Belizean food every day with fresh squeezed fruit juice for breakfast. Really excellent bird guide Abi. Swim in the nearby river. Can't recommend highly enough.

Comfortable accommodations and delicious food. The staff were friendly,helpful and knowledgeable.The property has walking trails to watch the birds,but just sitting on the veranda watching the feeder was very rewarding

A family run jungle paradise close to many activities. The birds in the area are definitely the main highlight to this property and the staff know it. In fact it is obvious that they did not overdevelop this land to keep the local wildlife happy and close by. This location is a tranquil spot to use as a home base to explore the Cayo District and the property will offer activities using local, knowledgeable guides.

Wonderful place with get helpful and friendly staff. They help set up any tours you may be interested in and make it easy from booking to getting back to the airport. The meals were good, the rooms very comfortable. I would recommend this place to anyone. Lots of birds around the property as you can see from other reviews. Howler monkeys are nearby as well. Easy and good communication to make it all so smooth from start to sadly going home. We will go back though.

Crystal Paradise is a heavenly place that lives up to its name. I went with my Birding group last week and I was thrilled by the space beautiful rooms ,the delicious food, the wonderful kitchen staff who prepared me vegetarian and fish meals. Special shout out Carolita for your fabulous home cooking. Eric was our birding guide he was second to none, son of Victoria the owner. Alba his wife is also charming and on staff. Delicious picnic meals were prepared for us with proper napkins and a tablecloth! You can see spectacular birds on the beautiful grounds and feeding trays and enjoy watching them from a comfy rocky chair. I really love my experience. I can’t wait to go back.

Our three nights at Crystal Paradise was the perfect way to experience the jungle and the surrounding San Ignacio area. Each morning we had breakfast with over 60 species of birds and every evening we enjoyed wonderful home cooked meals. Our tour guide Romel was a legend as we explored various caves, ruins, and waterfalls. Thank you to the Tut family for hosting us.

The property is amazing, lots of beautiful birds to see right from the porch area. The river is a 10 minute walk from the property. You can cool down and listen for monkeys. The Staff is super friendly and helpful. The meals are delicious, self-serve bar is awesome, and dining area is outside so you can enjoy being in nature. I would recommend getting picked up from airport, don’t bother renting a car especially if you plan on doing excursions with the resort because they provide transpo for everything.

A perfect setting close to San Ignacio but set a little further out, kind staff, gorgeous birds, clean rooms, accommodating host. I absolutely would suggest this hotel to anyone going to the area.
