Falling Leaves Lodge was a great place to stay! Christiana in the office was always helpful. We arranged our Tikal tour through Falling Leaves in advance. Great private tour and I am so glad that we chose to book through them. We had breakfast each morning at the lodge. One morning, we needed to leave super early, so we were able to pre-order breakfast and it was ready and hot the minute we stepped into the restaurant. In the evenings, we were tired from our tours and relaxed with a cold beer and dinner at Falling Leaves. Room was comfortable, air conditioning worked, food was good, staff was friendly and helpful ..... no need to go anywhere else!

This is a fantastic property. The staff is so nice and helpful and the food is amazing. The cabana is a great room and it is right next to the Cahal Pech Mayan site. The only thing to be aware of is that there is no door on the bathroom!

The staff and location was fantastic, right next to Cahal Pech and feeling like the middle of the jungle! Great breakfast before adventures and amazing evenings sipping wine by the pool. Can’t recommend this place enough! Don’t worry about distance from town, fun walk down, or cheap cab ride back.

This is a lovely place on top of the hills. The pool is new and inviting, especially during the scorcher of a spring this year! Ms. Paula and crew are so friendly and helpful. It was a quiet-no road noise, just the occasional monkey dropping things on the roof at night😊. The ac worked well and the beds were comfortable. The restaurant was delicious, great breakfast and dinners. Just be aware, it is at the top of the hill-a steep long hill to walk up-taxis are available though! The place next door (cahal pech village resort) also has a nice pool and bar you can use for a small fee, for a change of pace)

My husband and I had such a great experience at Falling Leaves starting with the receptionist from the second we arrived. She was very knowledgeable and helpful. The kitchen staff were extremely accommodating - kept the kitchen open for us late arrivals (9 PM arrival), pre ordered breakfast for us the next morning so we didn’t run late for our tour that day and so much more. You can tell the staff is truly family, and made us feel like family.
The property is stunning, with beautiful views of San Ignacio. Couldn’t recommend this property enough! Wish we could’ve stayed longer.

Cute hotel with great service! Very clean rooms and excellent, friendly staff. Beautiful grounds with wildlife and nice new pool. Staff went out of their way to get us ready for our tours and even provided big spray one day when we forgot ours.

We enjoyed our stay. We were in the stone house which was ok but did not have any outdoor space to chill in. Typically in our vacations we like to sit on a porch and do nothing. I noticed that there were several other options that might be perfect for this on the property so next time I might pick more carefully which room we are in. But the people here are great and really neat location! Cachal Pech next door is totally worth the trip as well! We came here as a jumping off point for Tikal, which was amazing but also seeing Cahal pech and the market made for a fun short trip to San Ignacio!
