Conturce Hostel

Ahhh where to start? I had an amazing time at this hostel. I was always greeted in such a friendly way, and the rooms were always cleaned and well maintained by the excellent housekeeper, Edwin. He was so kind and gave great recommendations, and kept the bathroom and room very well maintained and clean. Dinelys and Nina were both so helpful and welcoming, especially since it was my first time in a hostel. I enjoyed my first time so much that I came back for another 4 nights a few days later! And thank God I did, i met some incredible people on my return visit! The rooftop is wonderful, and I felt very at home. The beach is a quick 6-10 minute walk away, and there’s plenty of food and shops around. Will absolutely stay again the next time I’m in San Juan! 🤍🤍

When I checked in the room looked different from the website. Then I was informed that the bathroom was outside of the unit, up the stairs and inside of the shared community kitchen. That was not listed in the rental description and was totally unacceptable. Fortunately I was able to switch units and get one with an in-unit bathroom, for a fee of course. The rooms were very no frills and basic and there was no hot water my first day there. The AC and WiFi worked and the front entrance and room doors use an electronic keypad for entry. The staff was friendly and the property is situated on a busy street with lots of traffic, vehicle and pedestrian. There's a small "library" across the street with free books. Shops, restaurants and a beautiful beach are within walking distance.

Awesome hostel! The spot is amazing, right near everything, food, shopping, beaches, nightlife 10/10z The front desk woman Dinelsy made everything super easy for me when I arrived before check in. The room and rooftop and everything was so clean thanks to Edwin. Would 100% come back and stay here!

Close to the beach. Close to great restaurants. Books galore right in front of the hostel.

Really chill spot. Staff was super friendly and helpful. They watched my bags after check out till my flight left later in the afternoon. Big thank you and shout out to Dinelys, Edwin and Jasmin for their great service! if you're looking for a chill spot for the night is San Juan, I highly recommend.

I guess it’s not what I was looking for so I didn’t enjoy my stay there. Make sure you do your research before you stay.

Was a wonderful stay. The price was incredibly reasonable, staff made it easy for me to check in and out. Other guests were clean and considerate.
