If you're in OSJ to take in the city's fascinating history, you'd be hard-pressed to find a better spot. Not only is the location perfect for these endeavors, but the hotel itself is a part of this rich history. The property is gorgeous and the public spaces are very well-maintained. During our stay it was buzzing with special events, including multiple weddings, which actually added vibrancy and energy to the place. The setup of the rooms -- with an extra glass door between the sleeping area and the open courtyard to deaden noise -- and the expert management of these events somehow made them complimentary to our stay. The rooms aren't big, which was fine for us as we spent most of our time outside of the property exploring. They are well appointed with very nicely updated bathrooms. The rooftop pool is an excellent place to unwind after a long day and the evening wine and cheese hour is a nice perk.

Amazing staying. Perfect room. Top notch service and quality. Accesible to all the amenities in Old San Juan. George is the best greeter ever. He puts a great entry amiable face to an exquisite hotel. 5 stars.. no doubt

Stayed in a superior queen room. Room was clean. Bed was comfortable. Room had a beautiful view of the water and cruise boats coming in and out of the harbor. It also has really good soundproofing. There was a Table with two chairs, two night stands, lounge chair with ottoman, dresser with four very small drawers, refrigerator, espresso machine, safe, hairdryer, closet with lots of storage space and a completely updated bathroom with built in shampoo, body wash, conditioner and lotion dispenser. There were also fresh flowers and plenty of towels.
Housekeeping really does a great job but they do come very early in the morning. Front desk was very friendly and efficient. Morning coffee was good and wine and cheese from 5-6 each day was fun. Hot tub is cold and the pool is small. Restaurants were all bad. Including the ones listed on their recommendations letter. Super Max grocery store is three blocks away with beer, wine, liquor and everything else you need on vacation. Best food we had was at La princess and at Carli’s. Had fun at Nono.
