This hotel impressed us visually with its amazing view of the forest and wilderness; it truly was an astonishing sight. But, the view is nice but not to look at for hours and hours. We arrived at around 11am with intentions of pre checking, so we could skip the long line that would eventually take a large amount of time. But, the receptionist, Jasmine, decided that she would not do that, and instead went on her phone to chat. Very disappointing since we had previously come to the hotel, and the receptionist Karina was kind, helpful, and with a bright smile - the total opposite of Jasmine. So, we had to keep our bags for hours until we could finally check in. Jasmine was still there and rudely and disrespectfully told us to go to the other receptionist, Edgar (who is nice, very respectful, and helpful) as if we were annoying clients or as if she didn’t want to deal with us. While Edgar was helping us check in, Jasmine was speaking very loudly and obnoxiously, which was again, disappointing and a negative point. Apart from that, the Monkey Bar had little food options and one server didn’t understand what we were asking him (he somehow didn’t know understand we wanted brownies). The buffet on the other end, was extremely expensive ($28 per person) but did have many options. One server was rude, but the rest were kind. In conclusion come for the view and sight, not the service.
