Great central location.
No way to park a car for loading and unloading at the hotel. Parking two blocks away is expensive.
The breakfast area was small and service was slow.
Slow elevator - walked the stairs since the elevator responce was so slow.
The pool was very small, but good for soaking the feet after long walks. Nice view to the south from the rooftop terrace.
They did not wipe up water in the first floor hall after rain and did not provide any warnings of a slippery surface (I almost fell).
No room phone to communicate with other rooms and the desk.
They did not leave AC controls in the room (apparent theft issue?)

una verguenza nos metieron en una habitacion abajo no hicieron la habitacion y nos dejaron colgado de la manilla de la puerta en una bolsa de basura las toallas limpias, las sabanas sucias todas arrugadas me tuve que duchar de chanclas no hay ni una foto de esa habitacion la piscina es de risa y sucio el agua ,habia otros españoles que opinaron igual que nosotros vamos que si ese hotel por llamarlo de alguna manera sigue recomendado es para correr.

The location of La Terraza is fantastic. Easy access to all of Old San Juan and the staff was very nice.
The hotel looks like it was fabulous at one point, but a lack of maintenance has become an issue. Missing soap tray in the shower, several burned out lightbulbs, conveniences like in-room coffee machine, mini bar, etc were not available. Adjusting the room temperature required a call to the front desk, and somebody coming up to adjust it. Hot water was also an issue for the couple traveling with us.

This hotel is in an excellent location but that’s all it has. The place was not well taken care of. The bar is closed. To change the temp for the AC you need to call downstairs and they then have to go to your room in person to use their remote to change the temp. Apparently people steal the remotes. The bathrooms were dirty and smelled like pee :(
They dont even provide tissue paper, or a trash bin in the room. The place has a drip coffee maker but no coffee is provided. It also has a range oven, but no microwave oven. The place gets really dark in the evening.
