After an initial mix up with my booking, Daniel the owner, helped me out and what an amazing place this is! Pilar and every staff member we encountered, were so friendly and professional. Our room, recommended by Daniel's Wife "Pueblo" was, as requested, romantic and beautiful with amazing views! We ate in the restaurant and the food and wine were sublime! Thank you all for making our Anniversary, just perfect!

Ein freundlicher Empfang von Daniel , dem Besitzer des kleinen Hotels, das Betreten des so wunderschönen und individuell eingerichteten Zimmers, der unglaubliche Blick auf den Felsen von Gibraltar und das Gebirge von Marokko, so begannen die 4 Tage, die wir in diesem bezaubernden Hotel verbringen durften. Nebenan ist das Atelier von Catherine, seiner Frau, die wundervolle und phantasievolle Keramiken herstellt, das wir auch besichtigen durften. Zum Hotel gehört ein sehr schönes Restaurant mit Gartenterrasse, das ein sehr geschmackvolles Essen serviert. (Danach möchte man nicht mehr woanders hingehen.) Auch das Frühstück ist sehr liebevoll hergerichtet. Die Mitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich. Die Atmosphäre ist unglaublich einladend!

We were absolutely delighted with this small guesthouse in this friendly town. Incredibly cozy and tasteful rooms. Terrace with a view as far as Gibraltar and Morocco. Very tasty breakfast buffet on request and very friendly service. You immediately feel at home here. Reception is only open on request, so announce your arrival. Loading zone in front of the hotel - you have to look for a parking space in the town.

The views from our room were incredible. The history behind the property just adds to its charm.
Parking was a minor challenge. Not having a staff person on site was disappointing.

This location is a hidden gem just up the mountain from Marbella. We happened to stay on their gastronomic weekend when all restaurants participate in what we would call in the states "restaurant week". Daniel, the manager/owner kept us well informed for our arrival. Staff, Pilar in particular, was wonderful. Very accommodating. The restaurant at the hotel had fabulous food and wonderful breakfast buffet with fresh made croissants. The only issue is parking if you have a car. Spaces near the hotel are very limited and for compact cars. We did find a spot about 3 minutes walk from the hotel. We would go back in a heartbeat to explore the town of Gaucin.

Everything is charming here, starting with the welcome. Beautiful, tastefully decorated rooms, splendid view of the mountain and the small village which has retained its authentic character. Daniel and Catherine, the operators, gave us good addresses and lots of ideas for a pleasant stay. Unfortunately, we were not able to try the restaurant which reopened a few days after our departure... another good reason to come back!
