Nice hotel, relatively new, big rooms, hotel facilities and breakfast are very good. The location is a little far from Fisherman's Wharf, so you have to take a taxi there. All in all, the price/performance ratio is relatively high.

It took a little longer than expected to check in, but nonetheless it was good. I was told to go around back to park closer to my room. However, the parking lot was being slurried so it wasn’t at all closer. Maybe could be slightly more conscientious of what’s going on around the hotel.

The SLO Courtyard Marriott had a clean, comfortable and spacious room with an updated lobby. It was one of the nicest courtyard Marriotts I’ve stayed in. The staff were friendly. I wasn’t here very long but it was an enjoyable visit. I’d stay here again in the future.

Great location close to city center. We drove to Hearst Castle which was a short drive. Then on to visit elephant seal which were amazing. Then to Moro bay for wine and crab cakes at Stax which was great. Then on to see bubble gum alley and walk the seats in SLO.

Stayed at the Marriott for several nights as we explored the SLO area. Booked online through Marriott and used points to get a free room. Overall, the experience was decent. Staff was friendly when we checked in. Signs are posted about parking and the staff asked us if we had a vehicle when we checked in. We did, which cost us $15/night to park. I know that is happening in a lot of places but I don't get it other than it being a money grab. Why isn't parking included in the price of the room or if someone charges you for parking then why are they not responsible for any damages or theft? Room on the third floor was quiet. Had a king room. Bed was ok and pillow were super soft. Shower was hot but had a shower head that felt like needles. A little bummed that house keeping did not replace cups or tea, etc. They did have a restaurant and bar but there was no complimentary breakfast or happy hour. Not a deal breaker but would have been a nice gesture. There are places close enough to get food so not a big deal unless one is expecting it. The hotel was quiet and is easily accessible off of the highway. They do have a heated pool and hot tub that we did not use.

Welcoming staff and spacious room. Truly enjoyed our stay. We came to town to visit our son at Cal Poly and the Courtyard is conveniently located just a few miles away from the campus and from downtown San Luis Obispo. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom was nice.
