This Bed & Breakfast is quite lovely. As soon as I entered my room, the mood was set for me. The lighting was perfect ... and they had jazz music playing. Pretty impressive! I had the fireplace room was it excellent. It was probably the best sleep I've had in awhile. The rooms are sound-proofed so it's extremely quiet. The bathroom had a large shower with the perfect amount of pressure. For breakfast, they place a cut bag on your door with fresh scones and a thermos of coffee. There are a lot of small touches that for a long way. The bikes out front are adorable and accessible. The only negatives I will point out are: 1. While the rooms are soundproofed, if you have someone above you ... you will hear them walking or dropping things. My first night was bliss. The second night I was awaken by walking from those above me. 2. No help with luggage. While I am perfectly capable of carrying my own baggage, it is hard to carry a suitcase up a slight of stairs let alone two flights. I think a quick remedy would be asking the guests if they need help. It would be hard for someone who's older or handicapped.

Very nice place to stay. Everyone seems to love the coffee and scones delivered to the room! The coffee was done but the scones could stand a new recipe. Still, an excellent choice in SLO.

I was a little weary, but when we got up to the room, we absolutely loved it, the bed was comfy and roomy, and we even got a thermos of coffee and fresh pastries in the morning

My wife and I toured the Hearst Castle and stayed overnight in San Luis Obispo. The reviews and photos of the Creek Lodge looked like it would be a great place to stay in town. From the moment we checked in with the friendly hostesses at the reception to the pastry and coffee delivery the next morning, we were impressed by the welcoming atmosphere the lodge staff created. The big shower in the bathroom was great and the bed was super comfortable. I’ll want to follow up with the hotel management to see which mattresses they selected. I’d like guests in my home to be so comfortable!

We enjoyed our stay here. The rooms were comfortable and well decorated. The fireplace in our room made it feel cozy. The scones and coffee delivered to our room each morning was a nice touch. The staff was very attentive. We will definitely stay here again.

Great place to stay, very quiet, clean and the staff are very welcoming and helpful.

Lovely stay at a thoughtfully designed, decorated and run hotel. The exterior reminds you of European buildings, tucked in between two other hotels/inns. Quiet neighborhood, plenty of parking, walkable, with a couple of good food options within 2-5 min walk. The staff was wonderful and the check-in was super easy and fast. The rooms are stylish, clean, with massive bathrooms, and super comfy beds. The selection of morning pastries with a thermos of fresh brewed coffee was a cherry on top. We'll definitely be back!

Very nice, convenient to SLO campus
