This little oasis off the beaten track is worth the Uber ride into the city. It’s set back from the busy location of San Miguel de Allende. Yes you need to arrange a ride into town but the quietness is so worth it. The hotel is lovely with little spots to hang out away from prying eyes. It has a nice small pool that is great for that afternoon dip. The restaurant serves a nice meal, and breakfast is included with your stay. The hotel has several nice play lists for music. The outside bar is open to serve where ever you are on the hotel grounds. The outside grounds are filled with beautiful flowers to take the perfect picture. The Spa offers very nice services in a nicely lit room. It was a stay we would do again.

Reservamos para pasar una noche fuera del ajetreo de la ciudad. Lo mejor fue la vista de noche, era hermosa desde nuestra terraza. La habitación aunque pequeña, era sumamente cómoda con detalles y muebles qué destacaban el estilo antiguo. El acceso desde la carretera es empedrado y muy empinado, pero un vehículo familiar sube sin problemas, sin embargo hay que tener en cuenta que es un lugar para encerrarte ya qué está fuera de los límites de la ciudad. La atención del personal es buena, son chicas atentas y dispuestas, pero se nota que le falta gente, la chica de recepción y la mucama aparentemente tambien son chef, mesera, barman, etc. La parte negativa es la sería necesidad de mantenimiento, lo primero que notamos fue la alberca, sumamente sucia, prácticamente meterte era un riesgo sanitario, no había agua corriente en el WC y aunque pedimos habitación con jacuzzi, este tarda horas en llenarse y el agua nunca salió caliente por lo que no recomiendo esta opción si lo que buscas es relajarte. Se nota la falta de atención a las mallasombras, prácticamente todas están rotas, el pasto seco, en fin, el mantenimiento es nulo. Por último, el costo de la comida y sobretodo de las bebidas es alto, incluso para el standard acostumbrado en San Miguel de Allende, seria importante que consideren ajustarlo, algunos cócteles están casi al doble qué en otros restaurantes de la ciudad y el lugar simplemente no lo justifica, no es tan lujoso vamos.

Mala atención en recepción, llegamos y no hay nadie fijo, tenían una sola empleada encargada para diversas áreas (recepción, cocina, etc). Al llegar nos atiende la empleada y nos dice que nuestra habitación asignada desde la reservación la ocuparon, qué el cliente anterior si quiso quedar una noche más. Obvio no les importó nuestra reservación, si opción fue darnos otra habitación similar, habíamos reservado con jacuzzi. De las dos opciones una tina tenía moho y la otra no mal pero el cuarto olía a humedad en cuanto abrías la puerta. Al no haber más opción nos quedamos en esta última habitación, nos hicieron descuento de $200. Para esto la encargada no nos podía cobrar teníamos que esperar al dueño, que dijo se encontraba cerca, nos hizo esperar una hr. Todo mal, me sentí engañada respecto a las fotos pues se ve le falta mantenimiento al lugar así como fumigar pues aunque entiendo esta en parte alta son demasiadas las arañas. Por último había visto fotos de desayunos en el lugar y se veían bien, pedimos de desayunar chilaquiles, y recibimos unos totopos bañados en salsa con poco de crema y queso, ni frijoles tenía y cobrados a buen precio. El lugar creo puede dar más pero quién lo este administrando no lo está haciendo bien.

La vista es muy buena, y la atención en recepción fue excelente. Pero no revisaron mi habitación y habian cosas sin limpiar o sucias. El restaurante tenia pocas opciones de almuerzo, el desayuno si estuvo muy bueno. Si son personas que no les gusta los insectos, no lo recomiendo porque es bastante rustico, al natural y campestre (a mi no me incomodo pero a mi hermana si)
Conseguir transporte es dificil porque no llegan los uber, lo mejor es tener el contacto de un taxi desde recepción.
