I was very disappointed to find out that the beach club services and restaurants were not available at the beach. Instead they were moved into the hotel and there is no active waiter services, seating, drinks or any amenities at the beach area. I didn’t find this out until I arrived at the property but it turns out they had sent me an email shortly after booking. It looked like spam mail so I ignored it. The Travelocity photos still advertised these facilities so it never crossed my mind that they would be closed. Honestly the convenience of these facilities were the reason I came back to Fiesta for the 2nd time.
Fiesta tries to make up for the absence of beach facilities by paying for a scuba expedition for your party. Great expedition but still didn’t make up for the missing amenities at the beach.
They also say that the beach is still accessible but the pier is not so beginner snorkels don’t enjoy the safety of the pier access. Several pier staircases are broken.
Also, in comparing this property to the 2018 version I enjoyed, it has severely dilapidated quite a bit. The face of the building looks run down, the pool has mildew build up and several missing or broken tiles. My son cut open the bottom of his foot due to a sharp broken tile on the pool floor. They provided first aid, sent him with 2 bandaids, said they would change the dressing of his wound the next day but never did. This really hindered our expedition plans because my son was in pain

Una verdadera atrocidad la de recepción nos frego 700 pesos y nunca nos dijo que el checkout era a las 12 am no vengan la barra de licores muy deficiente sin embargo personal de restaurante y bar tenders spa los mejores un verdadero crimen que también hay hostigamiento de fiesta club vacacional

Location was nice, but the pictures were not even close to reality. No beach No beach bars nothing. There is only 1 bar on the entire property. The pool area is not very big but the staff is amazing. Nothing was open on the ocean side for Fiesta Americana. Price is right and food is good.

En cada ocasión que voy me Sorprenden cada vez más por su excelente servicio y ahora con la reapertura del club de playa está genial. Obviamente para que ésto ocurra quiere decir que el Gerente general sabe hacer un explendido trabajo y así es. Los alimentos son también cada vez mejores yá que su Cheff el sr. Pinilla es extraordinario.

Staff was awesome. They went above and beyond to accommodate. Food was great. Snorkeling right in front of the hotel was excellent. Bed was one of the most comfortable I’ve slept in.
Website is misleading. They show an area on the website with cabanas that is not open. They also do not supply snorkeling equipment, kayaks, or any other water sport equipment. They don’t even supply lifejackets if needed. Reportedly, this area used to be opened and got closed by the local government due to some kind of zoning permit dispute.

Es un gran lugar. Lamentable les quitaron el área de la playa lo que hubiera sido un gran plus. Lindas instalaciones pero estarían mejor si le metieran más al mantenimiento.

Fabulous meals, great people and service. Meticulously clean and maintained. We switched to other hotels/condos in the past three years while the beach issues were sorted out. Dive House still has a partial presence there for us divers. Recommend!!!

Ya abrieron el club de playa lo cuañ les de un plus nuevamente, la playa, si te gusta el snorkel esta excelente las vistas estan muy bien, las comidas si bien los restaurantes no tienen mucha variedad lo que te ofrecen es de calidad. En el tema de las bebidas todo bien. Lo unico es que yo le daria un poco mas de limpieza a las alberca sy bien restaurar la alberca principal. El buffet cuando toca noche mexicana le daria un poco mas de sabor no es muy bueno. El hotel es chico pero muy confortable. Si regreso unos cuantos dias ya preparado para snorkel. Venganse preparados con salvavidas, aletas y equipo de snorkel porque aqui no te prestan solo si te hospedas en el explorean. Y el mar si es profundo y algunas vez picado.

Great place to stay! The staff is out of this world. The maid service is amazing. Pamela our concierge was amazing. There are enough food options between the buffet, room service (this is an inclusive resort, room service IS INCLUDED!) and the patio grill you can find something great to eat at all times. THE STAFF IS AMAZING!
