Very nice people. Next to a very good restaurant and bar. Offered lots of good activities however activities were very expensive. Would recommend if going to San Pedro

The staff was incredible—genuinely some of the best I’ve ever experienced. Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful, and I truly felt taken care of. The renovations they just finished made a huge difference—everything felt fresh, clean, and well-designed. My room stayed cool and comfortable the whole time, the showers were great, and the entire setup felt effortless. The attached bar and restaurant were a huge bonus—just steps away and honestly, the food was amazing. I’ll definitely be back, and this place is now at the top of my list for any future visits to San Pedro.

This is my second time going to Belize & my second time staying at the sandbar. It is a fantastic property even better now that they have the awesome rooftop pool. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The restaurant and bar are great. The location is fantastic and the price is unbeatable. This however, is not really why this place is awesome. The people of Belize are fantastic and the employees at the sandbar are probably some of the best they really make you feel at home not in a stiff informal way like you might get st four/ five star resorts. You’ve really feel like you’re staying with friends and family. I was surprised everyone remembered me and what I like to eat and drink. Everybody works hard there to make sure you really feel at home. Add that to all the killer stuff. I already talked about. It’s just a fantastic place to stay. I have recommended it to all my friends. Hopefully I can still get a room in the future.

The hostel is less than 15 minutes walking from the ferry pier. The room is without a window and rather small, but very clean. No cleaning as mentioned. The staff is friendly. One gets towels for the beach. The roof top pool is nice. However, the music is very loud. Next door is a pretty good restaurant. No safe in the room which is a disadvantage for a beach vacation. The word beachfront is a bit misleading. One cannot swim at this “beach”.

Ms Jami & Ms casey were so accommodating and helpful. The whole staff were very sweet and attentive. Alfred the bartender is a hard worker amongst the other staff. Very clean and source full. Rooftop pool is beautiful, would recommend going early.

horrible service! horrible drinks! a hunch of guys standing around talking to each other vs trying to provide CUSTOMER SERVICE! ordered a pizza and waited an hour cuz the bartender didn’t put in order then no apology and acted offended because i was annoyed. ugh! do business elsewhere…plenty of other places in san pedro im sure.
