We visited on off season and enjoyed the quiet , warm Belize air at Mangata Villa’s. The ride to the hotel is rough but it’s away from the load tourist population. We needed a fan to sleep and they were very accommodating.

❤️ My body was a little wonky so we didn't get to snorkel the reef or go parasailing as planned but oh at the peace tranquility and even the excitement of trying out a kayak for the first time. Not to mention being with the love of my life celebrating 10 years of marriage. This resort we is beautiful & intimate plus the owners (Jennifer & Justin) and staff were amazing! An extra bonus since I'm a morning person we had the pool and area to ourselves often. The Moon Bar at Mangata Villas, Adults Only is known for the areas most incredible tasting pizza. We thoroughly enjoyed the cheeseburger and the garlic shrimp calzones too

The Property was clean , great responsive team to support us . Lots of seaweed on the beach but was raked daily . Fun activities from movie night outside to games , kayaks etc .. nice 6 miles from hectic downtown so quiet yet easy to get to by golf cart

We had a great 3-night stay at Mangata Villas! We were in the main building...the unit was nicely laid out, clean and had everything we needed. Beautiful sunrises in the morning, too. The owners were great...very kind, helpful and available if we needed them. The Moon Bar staff were all fantastic, very good people and fun to be around. Pizza was very good. Overall fun, relaxing vibe for us, we loved it and will stay here again if we make it back to the island!

This was our first time in Belize and we didn't know what to expect. From the time we got to Mangata Villas to when we left, Jennifer and Justin made sure everything was perfect! The food was amazing here. Roly and Roddy are incredible bartenders and made such great tropical drinks! We could not have asked for a better experience on our first trip. We will definitely be back!

Had an amazing time here at Mangata Villas. Jennifer and Justin (the owners) were very responsive and helpful with any of our questions and concerns. They arranged a golf cart rental for us to get around and gave us plenty of suggestions on fun things to do. Our accommodation was easily 10/10. It was clean, beautifully decorated, and perfectly located. We had the corner room by the pool facing the Moon bar and the beach. Everyday we would walk out right into paradise. The Moon bar was also the spot to be at. The pizza was delicious! The drinks were delish! and the staff made our stay even better. We loved walking out of our room everyday and coming back at the end of the day and being greeted by the same fun and welcoming personalities. I can't remember all of their names but they're the ones that were always there. Jen and Justin also recommended us to White Sands Dive a few doors down and we went on a beautiful snorkel to Mexican Rocks. It was a great experience. My fiancé and I were had a private tour out there. The reef was very healthy and the ocean life was plentiful. We saw an endless amount of fish, turtles, rays, and nurse sharks. It was very cool! Overall, we had a wonderful time here. We enjoyed our experience so much that we actually stayed an extra night. Jen and Justin welcomed us to stay and arranged with the cart guy to extend our rental. Highly recommend Mangata Villas if you like a small private hidden gem vibe.

We stayed here for 3 days at Moon Villa. All the furniture looks new, it smells nice inside, everything as described on the description + there some perks and 10% discounts with local shop/diving center which owners will list to you. The owners are sweet people. Thai Lobster Pizza is a must try food at the bar there, super unique and cool and Ice Mohito cocktail . Stuff is super friendly, and provides great service. They clean territory every morning so the beach looks great, especially comparing to other places in San Pedro. You will not regret a single day spent there!

Mangata Villas and Moon Bar were an amazing stay for us. Though it’s outside of the town of San Pedro, we never had a problem driving to and from as we pleased. The staff (Rody and Roly) were always super friendly. The villa itself was comfortable and clean. They even helped us facilitate a golf cart rental and met us at the ferry port to guide us to the resort. There are other resorts walkable on the beach or even a short drive for breakfast/lunch/dinner if you don’t feel like driving into town. If you’d love a great and quiet place to relax, Mangata is the place for you!
