I booked a classic room, not in the main building.
But the website does not explain this situation. The other rooms in the main building are more beautiful and feel more upscale, like a hotel.
The classic room type is like a B&B, not like a hotel. It is a few steps away from the main building. The classic room type has two rooms and a common living room. You have to share the living room with the guests in another room, although the living room is basically not It's...but it doesn't feel like a five-star or four-star hotel at all. Although the hotel staff are polite and the service is very good, I just feel unsatisfied with this room here and it doesn't meet my expectations because it's just like staying in a B&B.

We are from Ireland and recently had a family celebration at San QuiricoD’Orcia a pretty medieval village south of Siena in the Tuscan Hills. We stayed in the rooms which were in Via Dante Alighieri 62 which are part of the Hotel Group and they were comfortable and airy. We availed of the breakfast facilities which were excellent and also had an excellent meal at the Garden restaurant. Lorenzo the Concierge of the hotel was very helpful and generous with his time. We discovered a puncture in our hired car as we were heading to Montalcino for wine tasting and Lorenzo offered to drive us there and back as no taxis were available. He also organised a taxi the following morning to transfer us to the local railway station. We will definitely return here again. Grazie Lorenzo and family.

Ottima struttura, albergo diffuso in un piccolo paese della val d'Orcia. Personale cordiale e disponibile. Colazione servita al tavolo, a scelta tra vari menù dolce e/o salato, in una struttura diversa da dove abbiamo soggiornato. A poca distanza in ogni caso e attraverso lo splendido paese.

Very nice widespread hotel, comfortable rooms, well furnished and clean. The service was attentive and very courteous. Great idea to use works of art to distinguish the names of the rooms instead of the classic numbers. Highly recommended!
