Amazing hotel with rooms in different buildings throughout the whole village. Very high standards, the staff is very kind, helpful and very professional. It was an amazing experience... this hotel deserves 6/5 ;)))!

What a wonderful accommodation with views of the surrounding Tuscan hills. The location was perfectly central for exploring Val Dorcia. The hamlet was steeped in beautifully preserved historical buildings, with amazing food options catering for all budgets. Our room was from a story book yet had all the necessities for modern comforts . We had the top floor in No 7 once you navigated the steps you were rewarded with the amazing views. The accommodation was spotless the staff were friendly and available. Loved it

This B&B is amazing. From the staff, to the room, to the food, to the super cute village, it was everything I had hoped for and more. My room was the perfect size, clean, comfortable bed and pillows with a cute view from the window. It was quiet at night so sleeping was great! I truly loved the village, great little shops, the restaurants were delicious and the sights were great. I do recommend having a car to explore the neighboring towns but if not, their driver Lorenzo was wonderful! I didn't get to try the spa but heard it was fantastic. I'll do that on my next visit! I think the price was great for everything you're getting and especially the super helpful and kind staff. Highly recommend the Capitano Collection.

This was our third stay in the old Capitano Hotel in San Quirico, and the best! We stayed 4 nights in room 23 (Capricorno), a large suite with windows opening onto the street. Bathroom a bit muddle in layout, shower, no bath. The bed was large, very comfortable, beamed ceilings, fun, quirky lights, cavernous space! The restaurant of the hotel, just down the street, serves up superb Italian food, and we ate there almost every night. It has always been superb! LOVE staying here to visit Val D'Orcia!

Beautiful family run collection of properties scattered throughout the medieval town of San Quirico d’Orcia. Warm welcome on arrival, followed by a tour of the main property, and it is stunning! There’s a Rooftop garden that has to be seen to be believed and fast became my favourite place to relax & unwind. A rooftop bar also operates in the late afternoon & evening. On offer is accommodation, dining, shopping & activities. This family is invested in their town and their hotel ensuring you have the most pleasant & memorable stay. They do what they do well. It was my first visit but definitely won’t be the last. 10 out of 10!!

Lovely hotel. Very friendly staff who were very helpful. The let done was being charged to take our bags to the accommodation. Also when I arrived at reception the man watched me trying to get up the steps with my suitcase and didn’t offer to help. The restaurant was superb for dinner and breakfast. Very comfy rooms.

We were a little disappointed with the room. The room was renovated recently very minimalistic. The bathroom was not clean and the shower had mold growing in it. The room also had a loft that serves no purpose.

Beautiful space, you need a few days to understand the rhythm of the town. We were there only a day, which was not enough for a place like this.
