My mom and I visited San Jose and stayed at the Sheraton Costa Rica for 6 days. On arrival we were greeted by their friendly staff. We had a long day of traveling soo the warm welcome we received during check in was soo lovely. Our entire stay was amazing. The breakfast buffet was delicious and the all the ladies that worked during breakfast were soo amazing and even sung happy birthday to my 1 year old baby. They brought out a cake and my baby couldn’t stop smiling. Also a special thank you to Randall who is soo awesome and helped us through out our stay with our bags l, helped with questions, and was soo friendly and made us feel so special. Also David at the front desk who checked us in and checked us out he was soo amazing. Everyone at this hotel deserves employee of the year and I will be going back to stay.

Hotel located on the outskirts of the capital San Jose. Prompt reception with attentive service Spacious room with good air conditioning, good bathroom Varied breakfast with good quality food. Restaurant with good food but slow service.

The staff is excellent and they are friendly and attentive. The food is decent and you are close to shopping. The property is a little worn out and needs a refresh. Otherwise great place to stay.

Beautiful space, clean and comfortable room, and friendly, accommodating staff. We were in a noisy room over where the Saturday night band was playing, and thankfully they were able to move us to a quieter room. The breakfast buffet was vegan friendly, we were glad for the soy milk too.

El hotel es muy lindo, moderno y está muy cuidado. El personal muy buena atención. El cuarto espacioso, bello y muy cómodo. No obstante el check in era 15hs y al llegar nos dijeron que la habitación no estaba lista. De todas maneras lo resolvieron rápido, asignandonos otro cuarto. Por otro lado el tv de la habitación no tiene Internet. Raro en un hotel de esta categoría. Es un hotel muy funcional, cómodo y agradable para una corta estadía.

It was a terrible experience: we found two bedbugs in our room (in both of our beds) and decided to get away from this hotel as soon as possible. Management offered to move us to a better room but, since they all use the same laundry system, we decided this was not an option. On our way out, we saw a very suspicious bag containing some pink powder inside the elevator. This was immediately reported to the hotel staff. To summarize, it was a terrible experience.

Two weeks of exceptional service and kindness at the Sheraton San Jose Hotel for business trip. Staff could not be more welcoming and attentive. Food superb; breakfast each morning - eggs made to order - were freshly prepared and served with a smile. Bar was well staffed and incredibly friendly in the evening to unwind. Hotel and guest room was quiet and clean; daily housekeeping to high standard. Multi-lingual staff went the extra mile to ensure our business meeting rooms and audio-visual were arranged properly. Hotel is a short walk from 'Multiplaza' shopping mall with a huge variety of shops to include luxury brands; otherwise you need taxi for short ride to get to downtown San José. Did not go to adjoining ******, so cannot comment on that space. Well done Sheraton San Jose Hotel!!!!!
