Our stay was absolutely amazing! The amenities, the service, the price, the food, the views, entertainment, everything will make you feel like royalty! You are met in the lobby with a warm smile & greeting from Alexander Bell boy and checked -in by Margoth. In the lounge you are personally greeted by Ronald day serve and Miguel Angel(night serve) who were very personable. Breakfast was deliciously prepared by Gaudy the cook. Even the housekeeper makes the toilet tissue decorative. Ezequiel, the concierge, was very helpful and all of the staff seemed to never forget a face or name. I must say.. I really enjoyed my stay at the Sheraton.

It’s a nice hotel but I thinks it’s rating seems inflated. Employees are wonderful. The pool area is a joke. The pool is very small and freezing. It’s also covered like a greenhouse so it’s very stuffy and you can’t see the sky. Really poor design.

I’ve been there few times. Every time there is a problem, and they are absolutely horrible at managing people that pays many times to stay there for work. I had to beg my boss to stop sending me there because the desk people are the absolute worst. No education and no respect. Sometimes way overpriced and you can hear the music from the bar in the rooms. They are disorganized, the food is pretty bad and I found dirty items in the rooms like snot on the pillows and dirty toilets. Avoid

My mom and I visited San Jose and stayed at the Sheraton Costa Rica for 6 days. On arrival we were greeted by their friendly staff. We had a long day of traveling soo the warm welcome we received during check in was soo lovely. Our entire stay was amazing. The breakfast buffet was delicious and the all the ladies that worked during breakfast were soo amazing and even sung happy birthday to my 1 year old baby. They brought out a cake and my baby couldn’t stop smiling. Also a special thank you to Randall who is soo awesome and helped us through out our stay with our bags l, helped with questions, and was soo friendly and made us feel so special. Also David at the front desk who checked us in and checked us out he was soo amazing. Everyone at this hotel deserves employee of the year and I will be going back to stay.
