Not recommanded !! Staff are rude , the room are very humid and no hot water! A lot a lot of bugs and animal inside the room restaurant very overprice and its but eating there. Food all taste the same. We stayed 1 night and they charge us 5 nights did not accept to switch to a regular room.

Staff was wonderful. Only ate breakfast but it was good. Stayed for two nights. The shower didn’t work the second night, no hot water. Grounds weren’t as beautiful as advertised and didn’t see any animals as advertised. Picked this place specifically for that reason. The room itself was clean and not as in the tree tops as the pictures on their website show but we were able to sleep with it wide open which was nice.

It’s a nice place if one wants to experience camping with the comfort of clean bathrooms, safety and still enjoy the wilderness. Good vegetarian pasta options and breakfast

Habitaciones fantásticas, con camas cómodas (con mosquitera) y balcón para disfrutarlo. Ubicación impresionante en medio de la naturaleza. Por la noche se pueden ver todo tipo de animales en los alrededores, incluidas muchas ranas de ojos rojos, amarillas, serpientes, sapos, arañas y demás.... Las habitaciones son "abiertas" al exterior, por lo que por la noche puede haber algún bichejo dentro, pero si quieres dormir en medio del bosque es lo que hay. El personal muy muy agradable como todos los ticos. Lo recomiendo 100%

Nice lodge and friendly staff. Restaurant was good and prices fair. Location was quite far from la fortuna (around 1 hour), but we enjoyed the way and the quiet nights there. Tents are not luxurious and humidity was very high, but interesting to be in so close contact with the forest. At night very easy to see several kind of frogs around. Really recommended to refuel yourself

When we went to la tigra, we were very disapointed. We did not get what we booked. Because we were not in a travell group, we got one of the so-called new bungalows wich, is, justlike a hole in the graund. This bungalow was dug one meter in the ground and we needed light to search for something in our bags in the day! The worst thing was that there was a really big spider in our bungalow and we didnt know if it was dangerous. There were no mosquito nets over the beds and there were tons of big bugs in the bungalow. Staff was ok but not very helpfull or aproachable. Very anonymus. The food wasnt very good. We wont go there again. Wouldn’t recommend it if you are not in a travell group. There are a lot nicer lodges.
