Lasala Plaza Hotel

Upon arrival, I was utterly exhausted after two days of moderate hiking that totaled 40,000 steps. I was greeted warmly by the hotel staff right away, and they served exquisite champagne while I waited to check in. A subtle, pleasant aroma lingered throughout the lobby, instantly putting me in a great mood. I’d like to give special recognition to the front desk attendants who assisted me during my stay—they were remarkably professional and considerate. The hotel seems brand new, fitted with state-of-the-art, upscale facilities. I adored the underfloor heating that runs across the entire bathroom and washroom area, which made everything incredibly cozy, alongside the user-friendly smart toilet. Every single detail was flawless. Another huge advantage is how close the hotel is to the beach. I could simply put on my swimsuit and walk over for a swim. There was no need to use public changing rooms or showers by the beach; I could head back to my room for private washing and changing, which felt such a luxurious privilege. I will absolutely come back here for another vacation.

Romantic luxury hotel for adults only. Fabulous location on the fringes of San Sebastian's Parte Vieja (Old Town), hence within walking distance of many famous bars and restaurants and shopping areas. Has a rooftop with a panoramic view of La Concha Bay and the city - this was where we watched the Copa del Rey celebrations and enjoyed spectacular sunsets. Fabulous rooms, posh and luxurious, healthy breakfasts. So happy we made a last minute switch to this hotel.

**"BAD: Beware of the 'Upgrade'"** Our priority when booking was the room size and budget, so we reserved a 32m² City View room. At check-in, the hotel staff offered us an "upgrade." He said that for an additional €25 per day, we could "upgrade," so we agreed. However, while the room did have a Sea View, the size was downgraded to just 21m². I told them that paying €25 to have a smaller room was a downgrade, but they insisted that the view had been upgraded. I asked to be moved back to the room we originally booked, but the staff ignored my request for an entire day. Let me ask you this: if you went to see a new landscape, and the view changed, how would you describe it? You wouldn’t say the landscape itself was "upgraded," would you? You’d say the view was different or better. The following day, I finally got a response from the staff. They told me I’d need to pay an additional €70 per day if I wanted a 32m² Sea View room. While the hotel facilities and scenery are excellent, the staff are focused entirely on business and seem to aim to squeeze every extra euro from their guests. In the end, we ended up paying the €25. **Beware of the 'Upgrade.'"**

In general, Hotel was very well maintained not only talking about maintenance also facility like window was so strong to protect all noise though we were in the middle of big festival ! Staff were helpful but was not initiative to share the information of festival Rooftop was plus! Amenity , no body lotion if you don’t ask In general! Sophisticated hotel and best location for beach and nice restaurants Enjoyed !

Faultless from start to finish. Arrived early and they checked me in. Was welcomed at the door. Took my suitcase. Lovely sliding automatic doors at entrance/ exit. Beautiful decor. Was offered sparkling wine. Check in was faultless. Room was beautiful and quiet. The rooftop area is stunning. The bar staff are attentive and friendly. The interior is spotless and chic. Location is a stones throw to old town and the beach. Breakfast was fantastic. Presented with a menu and a plethora of choices. Again very friendly beautifully delivered presented and tasty. Really comfortable bed and I am definitely coming back. Thank you for everything.

We loved our stay at Lasala Plaza. From the minute you arrive the staff are nothing but welcoming and helpful. We were given a welcome drink while we checked in and our bags were taken to the room. We had a marina view room on the first floor, and it was a beautiful room. Extremely comfortable, well fitted and great views. The room was extremely clean, with a great housekeeping service. The perfect space for our trip. The location was also excellent, right on the edge of the old town, with most of the notable pintxos bars within an easy 10 minute walk. While we were there it was a bit too cold to make much use of the roof terrace, but if the sun comes out it’s a great spot to grab a drink and enjoy the views. The breakfast was perfect for us. A good selection of pastries, bread, eggs and toasts etc. The breakfast and bar staff were also great. All in all a 10/10 experience for us and we’d happily recommend the hotel.
